For your interest in playing with the Lich Crusader set, I’ll tell you about my experience using the set last league. I was able to down Mogdrogen but that was the extent of the celestials I could do. It was HC so I did go tanky and play tree of life. Like you mentioned about what others said about the set, it is just okay. Although it gets bonus points for flavor haha. Getting an Ascendant Cowl is a must for the reduced recharge of skeletons.
I think I will probably end up with either the Aether or Vitality builds that I have on the channel before I get my hands on the Lich set. I've got a few different things I can do though, so it's going to depend on what drops.
Generally they're difficult to make and they top out at "mid" levels. It's a lot of work for an average to bad build. You can do it and they can work, but splitting bonuses means they are always weaker
