Before you comment, do some research, the "rang like a bell", thing was obviously an exaggeration that was completely blown out of proportion by people like you. Seismic events on the moon last much longer then on Earth due to its lack of moisture. On Earth quakes are dampened by the high moisture content of our planet. In contrast the moon is cold, very dry, and ridged, there’s nothing to dampen vibrations. Also, the presumption that there were lava tubes all over the moon goes back to the 1960’s, although it wasn’t until recently that we’ve actually identified one. We’ve known that they must be there as a result of our research, just like we know the moons not hollow as a result of our research. Learn science people. And not from RUclips.
Think if the moon can affect Earth seas and crust. At 230000 miles away. What can affect Earth on the surface of billions on tonnes of ore are shifted on its crust . Near directly north of it origin In West Australia to China East coast about Peking level.! Loss of a tiny weight on a car tyre at certain speed it will vibrate violently the whole vehicle. Also, in space, a puff of gas can adjust orientation of a space craft to align it for docking . The fact it , the mass weight shift , can move the centre of mas of a planet in vacuum is easy. No resistance to theAxis of Earth being tilted and wobble ,as a toy top will do when lost of its balance is exhausted . In space it will shift centre of mass to,accommodate its balance in rotation and axis angle. Results to more exposure to Solar influence in days and extracts the increase of equal and opposite of the - 269c in darkness of night. Weather is in a maelstrom of high and low hot and old in every direction change of tilt south and back north . Sea show, creatures show it , beached where their natural guidance has changed. Huge sea coming ashore out of tidal patterns. Sick , going on about this .
Big problem is the low gravity environment, wreak havoc on the human body in a long term! Like, blood and fluid pools in the body or low bone density, eye problems, headaches etc... Until these problems are solved, only robots can go out for research for long time period. Like the Mars rovers.
😂China landed the dark side of the moon which US could not do, that is why NASA begged for soils but due to US law prohibiting working with China, China has refused to do so.
The holes can be used for moon base alpha. We have to build moon habitats underground becuase of the massive amounts of radiation. We can send a few boring machines into the holes and they can tunnel into the sides of the holes and make the bases.
We don't need to bore out anything, the lava tubes are the holes, just tip a few Starships down into the tube and use them (it might even be possible to pilot the Starship down into the hole using the very last bit of propellant. Probably best done after Humans have excited the vehicle! :o)
Couple of questions : 1) If lava flowed through these tubes, it was presumably flowing downhill - and if it left empty tubes, it must have flowed *_out_* of them. Are there any places where we can see where it flowed to? 2) Are these tubes likely to be gas-tight? (I wouldn't expect so) We're talking here about filling them with a breathable atmosphere - presumably at an appreciably similar pressure to atmospheric pressure on earth, which would put considerable stress on tubes that have no atmospheric pressure acting on them from outside. We know that they have holes in them - the holes through which we intend to enter - and as lava flowed in them, it must have flowed downhill *_to_* somewhere, where it flowed out of the tubes, as they are now empty - so they likely have holes at their lowest points as well. Before any gas can be introduced, those holes will have to be blocked. And when they get filled with air, where will it come from? Compressed into steel bottles (fairly heavy) and transported to the moon? How often to replenish what leaks out? I see the thumbnail of another video that asks "Will NASA Explain this? Is the moon a HIDDEN Alien Space Ship?" The question that occurs to me is "Is the moon the ultimate pie in the sky?"
No, they're not air tight, but have been thermally recorded at warmer than the surface of the Moon temperature of -180°F. The shielding from solar radiation is worth the effort. Sealing a lunar lava tube would take awhile but not a major effort and a possible long term goal. ROV Lunar Drones can explore all the lava tubes in the Moon for best feasibility. Crystals formed under microgravity in a lunar lava tube would be unique. Since He-3 is unique to the Moon, there might be a lunar ore responsible that could be mined for He-3 based Fusion reactors, never no what you'll find so expect the unexpected. The Moon is a naturally occurring nuclear reactor and He-3 thermal blanketing lunar lava tubes isn't too far fetched. A vital He-3 refueling station for fractional light speed travel drives aren't too far away either. After +61 years, the goal is still the Moon and hope we get it done properly this time for humanity.🌚
@@dogprowilhelm7630 You say that sealing a lunar lava tube would not be a major effort - but it would have to be very well sealed, or any atmosphere introduced into it would hiss away through every tiny aperture - between sand grains, etc. Also, how strong are these tubes? This short video shows what happens to a steel container when its insides are evacuated - ruclips.net/video/Zz95_VvTxZM/видео.html - this is what atmospheric pressue does to it - but while that tank is made of steel, we are talking about intruducing atmospheric pressure into a tube that is made of, effectively, soil! Atmospheric pressure is pushing outwards on every square inch. There are 144 sq inches in a sq foot. How many sq inches are there across the roof of a lava tube? Do the multiplication, and you'll see the sort of forces I'm talking about - many thousands of tons. This project is a lot more of an engineering challenge than you appear to think. On top of that - all materials will have to be transported from Earth - at the cost of rockets to the moon. The weight of these materials would have to be landed on the moon under rocket power - you can't use parachutes where there is no air. I'm sure there would be other obsacles to over come too - ones that I haven't thought of.
I would hypothetically think that since the lavatube was formed by gas it was at one time pressurized giving it some structural integrity, but what do I know I've only been in the one in Hawaii not the Moon...
Where did this lava go? It certainly didn't form a nearly perfectly round orb all by itself. They compare it to Hawaii. I've been there, it doesn't look the same. I'm not saying there wasn't volcanic eruptions on the moon. But something doesn't add up.
In order to have a living in space continuously, water is needed lots and lots of water. The water on the moon I believe has to be heavy water, and radio active dirty water. Just because there is water on the moon doesn't mean it's safe.
Fun sport in a Moon colony? Flying like a bird, with your own muscle power and artificial wings strapped to your arms. There is an old science fiction story by Robert Heinlein, "Menace From Earth", which he probably wrote only because he got that idea and needed a story for it.
Old doesn't come into it. Some years ago the BBC science unit conducted a test to see whether the cosmos is bounded or unbounded in the four dimensions. Using the microwave background radiation they found it is unbounded in the three dimensions of space and one of time. It did not begin and has no edge they said.
It was recently reported that the 13.8 billion year old age estimate appears to be off by a factor of about 100%. They're now saying it's probably at least 27 billion years old... 🤷😆
This discovery is pivotal for future lunar missions, as it offers a sustainable method to generate water on the Moon, reducing the need to transport it from Earth. The ability to produce water in situ supports the establishment of lunar research outposts and space stations, facilitating prolonged human presence on the Moon. Additionally, lunar-derived water can be electrolyzed to produce hydrogen and oxygen, essential components for rocket fuel, thereby enhancing the feasibility of deep-space exploration.
Maybe the weights hold you down and make it easier to pump up blood from your legs to your heart. But will it exercise that heart or build your bones like real gravity does? This bone weakness has long been a known problem with astronauts. I wonder how the moon aliens our US Astronauts saw will react to China establishing its own base in their territory. No matter how interesting or boring these caves may be, at the end of the day nobody will want to live there on the moon, because 1/6 of the earth's gravity will result in decreasing bone density and muscle atrophy, including cardiac insufficiency, from a prolonged stay. It would make more sense to maintain large, rotating stations (artificial gravity) in orbit around the moon, and to export the material for construction from the moon, because the low gravity of the moon requires less energy input to transport material into its orbit. Otherwise, the moon is of little interest for practical applications. The history of the moons development may be of some interest to researchers, but that is about as far as it can go in regards to the moon itself.
Wanna bet on it??? If there is something on/in the Moon that man needs, HE WILL GO THERE! and he will need everything! Farmers, restaurants, heavy equipment operators, ETC.
We knew at Bechtel during the 70s that lava tubes exists...some are over miles long. All we had to do was design an entrance for a ready made moon base! Lava tubes provided a ready made shelter and radiation shield etc...
I ain’t gonna hold u but I got a video game for ps4/ called space engineers. It’s just like this video. U can go to the moon or any planet and dig holes or tunnels for resources
These holes at the beginning of the video make for a great opportunity for further study , and future development. I believe Mars also has suitable entrances allowing us access beneath the surface, this also would be very interesting to explore. Wonder if Mars Ingenuity helicopter would be up to the task??
The moon is hallow, and the the top layer is old dirt and the deeper you dig, you get the new dirt. You do not see deep craters, even if the diameter of the impact is bigger. Our moon is the only moon in the universe that is so close to their host planet.
Even if we had to reinforce the structure of the tube it would be easier then building new buildings and sealing them but.. yes I think we need to get up there and check it out and start a structure
the moving shadow within that 1st hole initially looked as if it had a sliding door which is stuff only a James Bond supervillain could achieve & the massive Lair beneath would cost even more & take ages .
In theory it would be nice, but as soon as you created a dense oxygenated atmosphere it would cause stress build-up on the walls and roof, which in turn would increase the chances of the tunnels collapsing.
Since the dawn of humanity we've been curious. From the beginning some looked at the horizon and wondered what lay beyond what they could see. Some set out to find out. Still much to discover about our own planet. About our past. The resources of the moon will be important for the future. That said, I don't want to live in a cave. I'll leave that to others. I like the sun and rain. I like open spaces and fresh air. Maybe if those lava tubes are large enough it might feel like open spaces. Maybe you could have a lawn to mow. I do enjoy mowing the grass. Is that weird? lol. Interesting video. Will be interesting to see who gets it done first. A government or private corporations. I probably won't be around to see but fun to imagine.
Where did you get the idea China reasoning is for dominance in space? It seems they wanted to be part of the West's space movement but was denied. Because they decided to go it alone does not indicate they are seeking dominance in space.
We need to stop this WHO'S FIRST and DOMINANCE thing. It's just earth seeking space and it's knowledge. Stop trying to control each other. The US thought it control who has access to space. They are finding out the truth and it hurts. So they, you, are sending negative indicators about the intentions of other seeking space and it's knowledge.
Probably to stress, incite U.S decision makers, to invest in space. Because no one wants to be last on the track, because then you only get the crumbs. 🙂
They only ever want to "be a part of something" when there's something (technology or money or land) that they can steal. They're copying SpaceX now. They are not friends.
What if those tunnels are already OCCUPIED? I think it's about time the governments of the world opened up about the reality space travel and our exposure to off planet beings.
Turning the Moon into a prison colony for politicians-now there's a wild idea! Imagine a lunar settlement where political figures get a taste of space isolation instead of their usual privileges. It’s one of those tongue-in-cheek thoughts that speaks to the frustrations people often feel with politics and the desire for accountability.
If people live at the low gravity it becomes a one way trip. Low gravity weakens people so going back to earth's gravity becomes impossible. Plus, those tunnels might already be inhabitated.
For those of us that really know China you said it, they are willing to do ANYTHING to discover the truth & believe me that doesn't mean anything good for the average citizen. The Chinese government is no better than any others only the elite will know & benifit from the truth.
And steals all the ideas and work the west did to do it, just very poorly. They are ruining the environment with their space program and a danger to lives on the ground.
Great video. Also, I noted that the US flag patches on the astronauts are backward. The stars belong on the right side of the patch, not the left side as the video depicts. This signifies that the US is always moving forward, never backward.
They know something that they are not telling us. For one the shortage of beef and other animals we eat. And they're too scared to say something so that we can fix it. Or possibly an asteroid or large meter headed this way. Which I'm confident we can deflect just enough to miss the planet
If we inhabited the moon and earth was destroyed what would happen to the moon ??? It would be pulled into the sun even if it was caught in Venus or mercurys gravity. Unless we strapped engines and a way to navigate the solar system.
Beats the hell out of me why musk wants to go to Mars, when the moon is just ripe for exploitation for human occupancy, and it's not 45minutes round trip for comms! Just 2 seconds, also it's just a three day trip each way- not 3 years! Maybe that's why musk will never get to mars with his BFR's that will need fifteen launches just to fuel one trip to the moon.
Come now. Elmo Muskrat is way smarter than anyone else on Earth, except maybe Ttump. I'm convinced he knows what he's doing! How can you doubt him? {sarcasm emoji inserted here}
I truly think the only reason for planning to move man to other planets is to escape a world ending event like the ice ages/great flood etc, some are in the know of what happened in the past and want to be ready for when it happens again.
You are confused, my friend, we are already LITTERING on the MOON. Trashing it's surface with our refuse and probably annoying those that already occupy the underground.
You would definitely need to reenforce the sides and the top and bottom of any lava tubes you intend to set up base in. The rocky surface of the lava tubes may be too porrus to hold an atmosphere, so you would have to either line them with metal, or use lasers to melt them into some sort of protective ceramic covering.
This would simplify the construction of places to stay since walls are already in place. Just need to construct end caps and the pump air into the location. As long as it will basically hold air.
You showed pictures of lava tubes we have known about for decades. I'm curious, what is the "most important discovery in decades" that your title mentioned?
Lunar regalith is dangerous. You wouldn't want exposed walls, breathing the dust would give you fibrosis, and emphysema. Now, covered walls would be a better idea. A layer of plastic, quick crete or something. The moon would be good as an independent industrial manufacturing operation. I can see short tours of duty, not extended stays.
If the internal temperature is warmer and there’s ice on the caps and in the craters, what’s to say there’s not liquid water in the tunnels or underground caverns and or lakes?
During our more than cataclysmic time we could move some to join this type of iss. It would keep our world back into operations. Maybe 2 to ,5 years. Are we ready?
There are two main reasons everyone's fighting to get back to the moon resource add military. Most Wars are about resources and land. If one country controls the moon all other countries will be vulnerable to attack so that scenario can't be allowed. I personally would like to see the moon as a staging ground for future inner solar Expeditions.
Pretty simplistic and erroneous viewpoint. You don't realize that all other countries are ALREADY vulnerable to attack, from anyone on Earth? Why would having a moon base make that more likely, is it more feasible to launch an attack from 250,000 miles, or from 5,000 miles?
In the seventies I read a paper by a scientist stating that there are bubbles on the surface of the Moon capable of being filled with an atmosphere, air.

Mad Musk's multi-million Mars mission
@@leonardgibney2997 I am rooting for the crazy man.Go for it Elon!
Wanna bet on it??? If there is something on/in the Moon that man needs, HE WILL GO THERE! and he will need everything! Farmers, restaurants, heavy equipment operators, ETC.
Rotating space stations don't work either. The Soviets did a lot of research into this.
But my kids will be taller.
Jus' sayin'.
Humanity comes full circle... We came from caves to explore new lands, only to return to caves, to explore new worlds. 👨🚀👩🚀
if you got somthing important to say dont go adding background music ....are you trying to control my emotions???
Looks like a few airlocks, and you've got a moon base. Let's go!
We knew at Bechtel during the 70s that lava tubes exists...some are over miles long. All we had to do was design an entrance for a ready made moon base! Lava tubes provided a ready made shelter and radiation shield etc...
Very nice work. The animation and diagrams were helpful. BRAVO!
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful.
A hole could have areas that stay in the shade permanently. If so, might there be ice of some sort?
The moon is hallow, and the the top layer is old dirt and the deeper you dig, you get the new dirt. You do not see deep craters, even if the diameter of the impact is bigger. Our moon is the only moon in the universe that is so close to their host planet.
The two moons of Mars are far closer to their host planet than our moon.
@@blackthorne-rose i made indeed a mistake. Its the size of the moon compared to our planet. That ratio is unseen.
ITS INSIDE -OUT👽🖖
Good content, thanks. Appreciate posting the references to related papers.
even the images, clips in the background were accurate, related, and of good quality. Best "science" video Ive stumbled across in months at least.
Glad to hear, appreciate the feedback
Even if we had to reinforce the structure of the tube it would be easier then building new buildings and sealing them but.. yes I think we need to get up there and check it out and start a structure
Yeah making concrete on the Moon is a whole other topic.
22:36 👽
the moving shadow within that 1st hole initially looked as if it had a sliding door which is stuff only a James Bond supervillain could achieve
& the massive Lair beneath would cost even more & take ages .
"only a James Bond supervillain could achieve" No worries! That's why we have Elmo Muskrat!
In theory it would be nice, but as soon as you created a dense oxygenated atmosphere it would cause stress build-up on the walls and roof, which in turn would increase the chances of the tunnels collapsing.
Very nice work. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Appreciate the kind words!
Lava tubes or sinkholes. I concur.
I love how they got Robert Goulet to narrate 😂 and I guess I just showed my age 🤣
Isn't Robert Goulet already dead? I thought he passed away a number of years ago?
@@manuellubian5709 I was kidding 😂
This is a lovely idea and picturesque daydream...
Now answer the question to the water problem...
Humans can not exist without it...
I'll wait....
You can seal the inner tubes and make them airtight and add pressure bulkheads on the ends.
Wow! An engineering mind, better tell Elon!
They seek dominance everywhere. Ask around in South East Asia
History said only west show dominance and conquer on other country.
They better leave those holes alone. 👽
Said the lord to Adam!
Most likely our ancient advanced ancestors have already tried this a few million years ago.
Yes, I got friends in there! 👾
That's an incredible idea!
Duh… it’s the Hive.. the holes take you to the Summoning Pits.. which lead to Phogoth and the Hellmouth..
Oh!😮
Always looks good on the drawing board
What if those tunnels are already OCCUPIED? I think it's about time the governments of the world opened up about the reality space travel and our exposure to off planet beings.
We already here! 👾 👾 👾
The Greeks wrote about the time before the moon was in the sky, that the moon was brought here.
Not the Greeks
If people live at the low gravity it becomes a one way trip. Low gravity weakens people so going back to earth's gravity becomes impossible. Plus, those tunnels might already be inhabitated.
Lava tubes or giant sandworm tubes 😉😱
Bro . This is the best moon video I’ve ever seen.
Doing the lords work
Appreciate that!
China, don't quit exploring. You're one of the few countries willing to do whatever it takes to discover the truth.
For those of us that really know China you said it, they are willing to do ANYTHING to discover the truth & believe me that doesn't mean anything good for the average citizen. The Chinese government is no better than any others only the elite will know & benifit from the truth.
Maybe China can stay on the moon, and leave Taiwan alone
And steals all the ideas and work the west did to do it, just very poorly. They are ruining the environment with their space program and a danger to lives on the ground.
Lol what
Truth ?… the CCP ? You need a Psychiatrist, Quickly !
Great video. Also, I noted that the US flag patches on the astronauts are backward. The stars belong on the right side of the patch, not the left side as the video depicts. This signifies that the US is always moving forward, never backward.
It's been said the moon is made of green cheese 🧀 but mostly it is a lot like Swiss cheese with all those holes in it😊
The holes are made by giant mice! Obviously!
@@davidsmithson865 😝👍✌
They know something that they are not telling us. For one the shortage of beef and other animals we eat. And they're too scared to say something so that we can fix it. Or possibly an asteroid or large meter headed this way. Which I'm confident we can deflect just enough to miss the planet
If we inhabited the moon and earth was destroyed what would happen to the moon ???
It would be pulled into the sun even if it was caught in Venus or mercurys gravity. Unless we strapped engines and a way to navigate the solar system.
The moon is Earth's waiting room.
our District of England is Gods’ Waiting Room & has been since 1950.
I have thought that too, as well as the Black Knight satallite. station for souls coming & going to earth
Come now. Elmo Muskrat is way smarter than anyone else on Earth, except maybe Ttump. I'm convinced he knows what he's doing! How can you doubt him? {sarcasm emoji inserted here}
If earth explodes the moon will drift off into space
@@HardHardMaster 😂 fell asleep during celestial mechanics, huh?
Mars has an atmosphere, and is terraformable.
Politicians on the noon is a good idea
They would still try stick their noises in earth's business. Lol
A hole especially for politicians??? Sounds good 👍
feed them to the "moon worm" ;)
Man has known for decades that the moon is made of cheese. The Japanese probe confirmed that it is Swiss cheese. 🧀
And Yes, you will find Helium-4 on the Moon, along with Helium-3.
always the resources ( deaths, no issue (
I truly think the only reason for planning to move man to other planets is to escape a world ending event like the ice ages/great flood etc, some are in the know of what happened in the past and want to be ready for when it happens again.
they are already minning the moon
You are confused, my friend, we are already LITTERING on the MOON. Trashing it's surface with our refuse and probably annoying those that already occupy the underground.
Come on now. I hope you don't really believe that.
@@BradleyElkins-y6p Just the Nortics and the Reptiles with chipped Greys doing their thing.
Moon moles!
Moonmins were cute 👽
Moon moles! The next sci-fi/horror epic!!
This would simplify the construction of places to stay since walls are already in place. Just need to construct end caps and the pump air into the location. As long as it will basically hold air.
Maybe it is a chimney for a wood-fired pizza oven?
If you find holes on mars you may find life still there. But they don't even look for anything like that. Why?
The Watchers do not want humans on the moon again.
I don't think the aliens are gonna like humans moving into their hood. LoL
You showed pictures of lava tubes we have known about for decades. I'm curious, what is the "most important discovery in decades" that your title mentioned?
Helium 3 here we go!
Sounds like the Star Trek movie The Search for Spock with the Genesis Project 🖖
1. Mass depression and misdirected anger. 2. Fear of coming surveillance abuse.
NO one spends millions on research into the history of the moon. This is all about building bases. Simple as that.
Just make a little drone type thing like the one they used on Prometheus to map the entire cave system in no time.
PVC built from titanium and kevlar is a good start to prevent tunnel collapses.
Mr Nesley Louis 😮
Never under estimate the Chinese, they are in fact a brilliant people.
Most likely they will be just looking for gold and other materials that are accessible from the caves so that they don't have to go outside.
I love China ambitions.
Maybe we can get Elon to send some Robots to explore the lava tubes in the moon.
If the internal temperature is warmer and there’s ice on the caps and in the craters, what’s to say there’s not liquid water in the tunnels or underground caverns and or lakes?
Moon residents won't find a buckees anytime soon but without worry, nobody would notice them doing number one or two
The music messes up these videos every time. So ANNOYING.
For years, they’ve said the moon is hollow and when struck it rings like a bell
EXCELLENT VIDEO GOT NEW SUB HERE WELL DONE
If you find big enough lava tubes and emptied out pooling areas, that could provide potential colony sights.
Drones going into the tubes
250 degrees farenhyt during the day. Would your sute burn up ?
In the seventies I read a paper by a scientist stating that there are bubbles on the surface of the Moon capable of being filled with an atmosphere, air.
Why don't they just send those Boston dynamic robots down those holes? I bet they find boring the animal in there!
There is already somebody
living in/under those holes 💯
True, giant mice living on the residual yellow cheese.
770 Eastern Parkway tunnels
The homeless aliens live there! 🙂
Did you watch total recall one to many times?
there are cities on the dark side of the moon, the moon has a population of about 500,000 million people and aliens in case you did not know!

And - 200 degrees at night..
Yet we put man on the moon..😂. Yea right..
