I have talked to an ISRO scientist, they mentioned that even in just the 2 weeks time CY-3 has collected soo much data that it'll take 3 years to study it. So, definitely more scientific finding coming out of this.

Seems like ISRO science is not as transparent when we had rockets and satellites launched in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. There were tangible results like live telecasts, long distance telephony, remote sensing etc … lately the outcomes and benefits of missions could not be verified as easily.

The ice may have been there for millions of years but lunar dust is constantly moved around by static electric forces and micro meteorite impacts, which allows the stuff to cover every bit of its surface. India doesn't yet have RTG technology, BARC and ISRO only recently started co-developing it. There was an RHU onboard the orbiter though.

@@death_parade Chandrayaan 3 has a Nuclear Device but not in the lander but in propulsion module.
Nuclear energy keeps Chandrayaan-3 propulsion module going.
Chandrayaan-3 has an untold success: The mission’s propulsion module now orbiting Moon is powered by nuclear technology. Confirming it to TOI on Monday, Atomic Energy Commission chairman Ajit Kumar Mohanty said he is happy that India’s nuclear sector could be part of such an important space mission. Isro officials said the propulsion module is equipped with two radioisotope heating units (RHU) generating one watte designed and developed by BARC. RHUs keep the spacecraft at their operational temperatures.

They were placed in the propulsion mod

@@death_parade RTG wouldn't be difficult. They stated they wanted the landing to be successful first. I heard one of their Project Managers say it made no sense to have a RTG on board before they were sure their lander would work flawlessly.
Maybe they did not want to leave a radioactive debris in case it failed.

Thanks for making this video. I'm shocked I didn't hear about chandrayaan's discoveries on my other channels. Maybe the news of chandrayaan was clouded by the news of the war in Gaza-Israel. In my opinion scientific news should dominate as it is significantly more important and interesting than humans destroying eachother!

Cy-3 landed on sept 23 on the moon. You didnt hear about it because most media doesnt showcase India's achievements in space. I mean how can a poor country like India achieve so much ....this baffles many western media outlets.

@@fun3721 What? It doesn't "baffle" western media outlets! 😂 Western media outlets are puppets whose job is to keep the citizenry in a constant state of emergency (which of course helps their ratings), to pit different groups against each other at every point, to distract us from the government's crimes, and to do a little social engineering.
      Baffles. That's hilarious.

Yeah while their people are still living 3rd world style and suffering like animals, SEVERE pollution, poop in the streets... they need to worry about fixing things there before they worry about spending BILLIONS more on space exploration..
