Its interesting that they were doing hops back and forth to LA as far back as Season 7 (1996-1997). Makes me wonder why it took so long (2010) for Wolf to get the idea of the L&O:LA spinoff. SVU was started 1999, Criminal Intent in 2001...heck, L&O:UK started in 2009. There was even a French spin-off in 2007.
Spoil Me! I can't believe I've forgotten this episode. Why was the cop in the garage? Even though it's been decades, I usually remember the plot twisty ones. So help me out, please!
Spoiler warning! It’s been a while since I’ve seen those episode but if I recall the cop felt really guilty about letting the ex husband go and felt responsible for the actress getting killed so he did plant the evidence. It blew up their case and the ex husband walked
This was part two of a three-part series. In part three he took the stand and claimed he visited her with his physiatrist who gave him a couple of tranquilizers. He said the doc and her started arguing and he passed out and when he came to, she was dead. The doc said he killed her and now needs to cut up the body and disposed of it. During McCoy's crosse he place the knife in front of him and had him hold it. He then started hammering him and kept on hammering him on how she was keeping him from his making his dream movie until he exploded in rage. Guilty.
This show and these characters feel so weird with an LA backdrop. Heart and soul of the show is NYC. But I bet Curtis' "plans" were dinner with his then-GF Julia Roberts haha.
As i say earlier in another video about the L.A triology the Defense Attorney Gorton it's a Son Of a...and he and his asistant deserved a Punishment for all the pain that they made to the good guys (It's their job but theres not son of a...ways to defend their client)
People laugh or roll their eyes at Berger and people like him but he is 100% handling this the right way. The cops could make a case that he is an Accessory to Murder. He is technically the Getaway Driver. And even if he wasn't you should never say anything beyond "I invoke my right to counsel" to the police. In fact Supreme Court Justice and Nuremberg Prosecutor, Robert Jackson said “Any Lawyer worth his salt will tell the suspect in no uncertain terms to make no statements to the police under any circumstances”. Law & Order practically invented "Copaganda".
“He can’t just check himself into a rehab facility, and yell ‘Sanctuary!’l”
Lennie and those wonderful one-liners…😆
Yeah lennie was great rehab like a relgiin in la

It's amazing the things we thought were elitist and snobby 25 years ago
"Smoking gun was an Indian Chief!" Another great Lenny line!
I love how they kept it so real. Especially filming in all weather with no crappy green screens like today.
Mandalorian was pretty good
@@PeePee-xw7jj ohhh my we are triggered.
I think they do green screen these days
@@dornravlin ohh yeah especially with NYC being terrible with crime and stuff.
Bang on.
Steven "Berger" huh? I wonder what Steven Spielberg thought of this scene LOL
Spielberg showed his guilt by the look on his face when Gervais made a joke about pedos, same with Tom Hanks. Ok, everyone in the room.

UK one was terrible.
There was already L A Law, a great series, in the 80s/90s
There was a L&O LA already canceled for low ratings.
OMG 😮. YOU SAID THE CUSS WORD "HECK"!!

I’m glad you asked so I could rennet what happened as well
Woah was not prepared to see my man Keith Szarabajka in this clip
Michael Harney (Miller) can do no wrong. I love every perfect guest star here!!

I love the Julia Roberts name drop in front her then-boyfriend 😂
You'll love the episode when she guest stars on the show while he was on it even more.
Why can’t I find this on peacock
Max?! 😮
[Gilmore girls]
This reminds me of some very simple words stated once by Michael Douglas.
"GREED IS GOOD"..
Affects All who have a drive to WIN AT
ANYONE'S COST..
Gordon Gekko from Wall Street...good movie...
This simply shows human nature. We would all respond like this if we can afford. Period.
Funny that they name drop Julia Roberts considering she’s been on this show 😂
Was Mr. Berger supposed to a Spielberg stand-in?

From what I've read online, this episode had oj Simpson vibes
Slow speed chase lol
it was probably inspired by that
But how can he walk off if there isn't some bigot to yell out slurs at the accused??
No hes being arrested for murderer and the attorneys can shut up and get out of the way
How do men like Miller exist in the world?
Wonderful series
Especially The Early Episodes.
Great example of the differences between east and west.
The title should read movie producer seeking rehab treatment🎥🎥🎥🎥
Jake Quinlan from Ripper. XD
I wish season 7 was available on peacock.
yo ho hardy dee dee, do what you want cause pirating is free you are a pirate
I wish all the seasons were on Peacock.
