Think about going dual shoccs up front. You will have 2 shoccs per side should help out a lot. Nice trucc though! My 99 7.3 is around 300k miles still going strong! I also did the pedestal delete, turbo up pipes, injectors, glow plugs, harness for glow plug and injectors, and valve cover gaskets so I’m hoping to get another 300k out of it!

Did you ever get the 4x4 working? I notice the front shaft isn’t installed. Or did it need modifications?

It was to short. Had to put a 2” spacer from the transfer case to the shaft for it to work

@@NUTZDEEP ditch the spacer. By moving the shaft forward, you are increasing the angle on your u joints and adding stress. You may not notice it on paved roads, but if you do get out bouncing around off road, bad things can happen. Aside from just premature joint wear, in worse scenarios I've seen cracked transfer cases, damaged drive shafts, cracked and shattered yokes, and sheared pinion shafts and crushed pinion shaft bearings. It's always best to lengthen the shaft. Just get your pinion angle set correctly, install the drive shaft to spec, doesn't matter if it pulls in 2 here, and measure from the center of the u joint cap closest to the transfer to the center of the u joint cap closest to your front differential. Then take your driveshaft and this measurement to a shop that can lengthen it and have it rebalanced and all new u joints installed so you are starting a new wear pattern in the joints that's matched to your new operating angles. This is how you get the longest service life possible out of those components. And always make sure to request servi able u joints so you can hit em with a pump of grease each every 1000 miles or every oil change just pump grease until you start to see fresh clean grease come out. Wipe off any grease mess so it doesn't fling off and attract dirt everywhere 🤙
