pls dont use a pipe cutter on carbon tubes. It works by compressing the material and lenghening it until exhaustion. This works great with metal, but will not work with carbon and you will damage the tube at some point. Like damage in a way that is not salvagable. absolutely insane bike though

Why is everyone I see building up a bike wearing plastic gloves? I'm not afraid of getting a little dirty when I work on my bikes. I just wash my hands afterward. Nice build fella.
idk about levers but seeing Gatorskin tires I can only think about it as beer bike tire, maybe winter training tire. I think such a nice bike deserves smoother and faster tires.

Yes, you are right. I only used the pipe cutter for marking and then cut it by hand.

no one sees the grease, it will become black and filthy anyway after a while. you need grease for metal, not for carbon parts

Friction grease on that carbon steerer tube too. The surface is going to get worn down and ruined.
