I know it's been mentioned before, but the graphics ranging from the hole overview, shot tracer, and pin graphics make this so much more enjoyable to watch.
Eric, well done. I actually live 10 mins from the Sheep Ranch. I have had the continued pleasure to be part of the Bandon Dunes family and play here as well. I often catch myself glancing at the edges of the Sheep Ranch and the fairways that really began to grow and show their colors. Truly a gem added to the menagerie of Bandon's timeless collection. I had the pleasure of watching the layout of Old Mac come to life...which, is now where I walk the fairway looking at The Sheep Ranch. It is timeless, it is golf as it was meant to be. Thank you Mr. Keiser for influencing my life in a way not often known. Eric, keep up the amazing series!! Cheers!! ❤⛳
When you play stress free golf for fun and enjoyment, you call what you want a tap in. If you know it’ll Make you mad if you miss it and you’re there to enjoy yourself, then call it a tap in and off to the next tee box
I'm from England and have only played football all my life - watched your Gareth Bale video and now I'm watching all your golf videos and really want to start playing! Love your stuff
After my disastrous round on Wednesday this is exactly what I needed to motivate me for my next round on sunday! Your voice is the best for course vlogs btw
Haven't played Old Mac or Bandon Trails yet (playing BT in 10 days on a New Years' golf trip), but played Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, and Sheep Ranch last New Years. So many wonderful tee shots at this resort that it's silly to choose, but if I had to I'd have to say that Sheep Ranch #6 is my favorite tee shot so far. Great content and quality, thanks EAL!
I played this on Monday and boy was it a treat. Although we were less than a week apart, we had very different experiences, it was 35 Mph + winds making this course a beast! We are already planning our next trip back!
Great day when a new video drops! I’ve recently started playing golf again thanks to your videos reigniting my passions for the game. One thing I never really hear instructors talk about is how all the over calculating yardage hurts the game. Our brains are fascinating calculators. Just look at the green, imagine your line, and hit the all. You’d be amazed how much your brain will auto calculate what your body needs to do to get the ball there. Not sure if I picked this up from playing basketball for so long. Just my advice to newbies.
Erik good stuff thanks. Since you were burning the edges of your putts you have what is known in golf as LIPROSY!!!! Feel free use that anytime. Be safe and hit nothing but fairways and green.
Dude these videos are so well made, thank you. Yes, yes, the graphics are nice B U T the continuity of motion between the shots around 7:14 really shows how much talent and effort you contribute Mr. EAL. Cheers my friend, thank you for what you do.
I absolutely loved playing golf at sheep ranch! probably my favorite course I have played yet, other than pebble. But I played at like 9:45 am and it was the best day that my caddie said he had seen in 5 years that he has caddied their. It was a beautiful morning with a gorgeous sunrise and dew on the grass it was cloudless day beautiful 70° with a 5 mph wind at the most and it was just insanely pleasant. I played 18 and I shot 9 over and was incredibly happy. I rented clubs which was pretty new but they were super easy and super nice about it and they fit peeerfectly, I got a pair of Titleist T200 irons and TSi3 Driver, Wood and TSi2 Hybrid. Loved the caddie and would give it a 15/10 experience for how new and nice the course is. The story behind it is amazing too.
Your shot for shot videos were recommended for me and I love them, I thought you had been doing these videos for a long time but realised they are very new. I think these type of videos are going to be very popular.
Ha ! I was almost certain that was PK on the first tee. Then the camera was out on #2, dead giveaway. Super nice dude with the RGV tour which was a lot of fun. Thanks for your videos. I’m going through my yardage books of the courses while watching since I’ll be there in March. Cheers.
Hey man - Just want to tell you that these golf vlogs are the best on RUclips. The graphics on holes, your voice overlay after the round to make sure the video doesn't take forever like other golf vloggers.....really fantastic work man!
That's an awesome course, your videos are gonna end up being what I use to plan golf trips in the future lol. Also the graphics are amazing, props to the editor
Love the course vlogs Erik. The combination of golf content and great cinematography is exactly what I go to after a long day at work. Much love from Augusta, GA. ❤️
Sitting on the couch with my dog, a fire going and a coffee watching this beautiful vlog! Love the content and your narration. For some reason I get a mindfulness vibe from your work, feeling very relaxed right now 😌
Such a good series!!!! Please keep posting they are so entertaining. And I have no clue why you don't have 2 million subscribers. It is just unfathomable to me. Keep it up...
If you ever get the chance you have to go up to a place called Mackinac Island. Its in northern Michigan, point is, there's a course called Wawashkamo Golf Club. The course was builtin 1898 and hasn't changed since then. It's a links style course and it's also built over a battlefield from the War of 1812. It's an amazing place to play a round.
Man the production on these videos get better every week. By far the best golf content creator out there right now, and if you keep this up we’ll see the subs rolling in real soon. Keep it up EAL 👊🏻
What rule is allowing @Erik Anders Lang to take a drop in the left rough after loosing the teeshot on 6? In Europe You would either have to replay from the teebox with one penalty shot or You could drop in the fairway and play Your 4th shot. The latter only if the course/club decided to apply it as a locul rule.
While to be fair he didn’t play by the rules I think what he did was pretty common for most people. No one wants to walk back to retire especially with playing partners etc.
It was easier/faster to play from the actual fairway instead of the rough anyway if you are not going to count strokes, but who cares... video quality is awesome, keep em coming!
This was by far the most enjoyable golf vlog I've seen. It was so good this is the first video I've ever commented on. Not remotely too slow, the lighting is great, commentary is great (also funny, I have the same day job except it involves leaving the ball 2 feet short), both shot tracers are great. Overall A++
Superb as always! I get to experience courses that I probably never will get the opportunity to play in person. Thoroughly enjoy these gems that is your vlog! #Bucketlist
This place looks amazing. One of these days, you and Golfsidekick need to get together and hang out. He's all about the good vibes, golf and the jam, you're all about that as well, it would be the golf collaboration of all youtube history
That 9th hole is stunning. What a gem of a golf course! Solid improvement on the filming this vlog too, well done! Side note, “slappy wiper”? I thought us ‘strayan’s had some odd sayings, that’s a new one for me!
"BAHH GAWD" This is groovy, ty @EAL. Also, I might be on an island here but the outside noises (not your narration) sound extremely similar to the audio from Tiger Woods 2004, arguable the GOAT golf video game, great stuff.
No one is going to like you any more if you score any better. In fact, they are going to like you less the more you care about score. Thats my experience anyway.
Loving these videos Erik such good content, sheep ranch looks like a small links course on the west scotland like it’s been there for hundreds of years
It's 1:04am, I'm on the other side of the pacific, I've never played a round of golf in my life yet I watched every second of this video. The video was put together so nicely I might go and have a couple swings this week. Cheers from Adelaide mate!
I know it's been mentioned before, but the graphics ranging from the hole overview, shot tracer, and pin graphics make this so much more enjoyable to watch.
Loving how you added the ball trajectory in the hole's map!
Besides playing these vlogs are the next best thing
Eric, well done. I actually live 10 mins from the Sheep Ranch. I have had the continued pleasure to be part of the Bandon Dunes family and play here as well. I'm from Singapore where we still aren't allowed to play golf - these videos keep me sane so big thank you!
When all this is over come over to Malaysia. We can play Forest City
I find it funny when he says, “a little tap in par/bogey”, but it’s literally a 5-6 foot putt. I’d never consider those putts a tap in lol.
Eh, for those of us not playing for cash or glory. Why not ;)
Yeah I was just thinkin they were some pretty long tap ins lol
Tour pros are 70% from 6 feet - and they’re pretty good at putting
When you play stress free golf for fun and enjoyment, you call what you want a tap in. If you know it’ll
Make you mad if you miss it and you’re there to enjoy yourself, then call it a tap in and off to the next tee box
T.P. All Outdoors eh but he says he’s a 7-8 handicap. More like a 15 handicap if he actually putted out
"They actually shot Lord of the Rings right behind this green." - I about spit my coffee out
I'm from England and have only played football all my life - watched your Gareth Bale video and now I'm watching all your golf videos and really want to start playing! Love your stuff
After my disastrous round on Wednesday this is exactly what I needed to motivate me for my next round on sunday! Your voice is the best for course vlogs btw
The shot of the putt on the last hole is basically howI have felt for the past two months... Beautiful course!
These videos are easily becoming the best golf videos on youtube!
Massive fan of these course vlogs. I've only been playing golf for a few months so love hearing someone's thoughts when they are walking up to a shot
This is the best course vlog format I've seen on RUclips. And I've seen a lot of them.
This course is absolutely gorgeous. I'm just at the start, but I can't get over how beautiful it is out there.
Haven't played Old Mac or Bandon Trails yet (playing BT in 10 days on a New Years' golf trip), but played Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, and Sheep Ranch last New Years. These videos were the reason my buddy and i went to Bandon in April. Got banged with the weather of course, but a blast nonetheless. Thanks Erik
Thanks for watching!
Something about Erik's commentary makes these videos so good. Always excited for a new one!
Finished watching thinking "that was a short video...oh, it was 12 minutes!"
Great job EAL & crew
One of the best of EAL that I've seen
These videos scratch the golf watching itch for me. These videos are so insightful and enjoyable. Keep em coming!
I played this on Monday and boy was it a treat. Although we were less than a week apart, we had very different experiences, it was 35 Mph + winds making this course a beast! We are already planning our next trip back!
Erik you have my day and a lot of other peoples I imagine thank you this content is my favourite your voice is so relaxing.

Love the addition of the hole map on the side and the tracing of the shot on it! Well done.
These vlogs make me want to play golf all day everyday. Very nice job Erik/team. Much love from Denmark
Bandon dunes is a brilliant resort. Absolutely incredible
Glad to be able to watch these videos! They are easily my favorite, keep up the good work
Erik good stuff thanks. Since you were burning the edges of your putts you have what is known in golf as LIPROSY!!!! Feel free use that anytime. Be safe and hit nothing but fairways and green.
Great video - graphics, pin location, ball tracer, hole info all make this really visually enjoyable to watch for a golfer. Nice work.
Best commentary for any course vlogs on youtube, love watching, keep up the good work.
Probably the best golf content on RUclips right now. Great vibes EAL
So pumped to watch this video, and soon after it opened!! Really glad you got to go play it!
this is my favorite series to watch. Thanks, EAL gang!
Thank you Erik these videos are so good you are a man among men
when he said "my day job as an edge burner," I felt that
Just booked our round for Sheep Ranch in July! Can’t wait! May have to watch these videos a couple more times before then for reference.
Dude, I love the new course vlog series. Great editing and awesome inside commentary.
Thanks Eric, may not get there this year but a place on my list. Great to hear your thinking on approach play. Looking forward the next part.
Keep the course vlogs coming man. They are great
Dude these videos are so well made, thank you.
Yes, yes, the graphics are nice B U T

That first drive was majestic.
I absolutely love the shot tracers, and the voiceovers are blessings to my ears
Great video. It's so well produced and the course map, plus green location makes it easy to follow. Can't wait for Part 2.
Ha ! I was almost certain that was PK on the first tee. Then the camera was out on #2, dead giveaway. Super nice dude with the RGV tour which was a lot of fun. Thanks for your videos. I’m going through my yardage books of the courses while watching since I’ll be there in March. Cheers.
was fortunate enough to be a preview player at sheep ranch with my college. truly one of the most amazing golf experiences I've ever had
Hey man - Just want to tell you that these golf vlogs are the best on RUclips. The graphics on holes, your voice overlay after the round to make sure the video doesn't take forever like other golf vloggers.....really fantastic work man!
Absolutely love these shot for shot vlogs. Feels like I’m at the course with you guys. Maybe someday! Great work Erik, keep it up
Love the addition of the hole layout on this one! Some sweet RGC headcovers as well, color is dope!
What a beautiful landscape...
Fun to watch.....even more fun to imagine being there!!
Just what we need right now. Keep em coming, E. Great work as always.
Thank you Erik. This course looks absolutely incredible. I've never gone a true "golf trip" but this will defintely be up there as an option
Sitting on the couch with my dog, a fire going and a coffee watching this beautiful vlog! Love the content and your narration. For some reason I get a mindfulness vibe from your work, feeling very relaxed right now 😌

These are great Erik, love the shot by shot thought process. Keep them coming
Your course vlogs and graphics are so next level! Best in the game!
The rules are the same here. Erik doesn't play by the rules, which is why he always scores so much higher on camera than you'd expect from a 4-6 HCP.
Same as on #1? In the gorse for 2, so should be dropping a ball + 2x penalty shots to then play 5th shot? I love these videos too much to care really
Rasmus Bremer Jensen I bet you’re fun at parties
Great narration Erik, beautiful course- keep up the great work!
This was by far the most enjoyable golf vlog I've seen. It was so good this is the first video I've ever commented on. Not remotely too slow, the lighting is great, commentary is great (also funny, I have the same day job except it involves leaving the ball 2 feet short), both shot tracers are great. Overall A++
Absolutely love this course!!! Looks stunning.
These graphics from editing are so good... you've upped your game EAL. I see you getting many more subs soon. Keep it up.
I'm here for this video earlier than I am for most of my tee times
34, 38. I’ve never seen anything like that. Love the way this course is shaped and cut into the landscaping
Loving the shot-by-shot vlogs! Also, finally broke down & picked up a couple Seamus head covers. Fantastic product!
YES! The best course vlogs out there.
YYEEEESSSS!!! Can't wait to watch this! Thanks Erik
This was amazing. We need more of these vlogs
Superb as always! I get to experience courses that I probably never will get the opportunity to play in person. Thoroughly enjoy these gems that is your vlog! #Bucketlist

Next level graphics, love the shot shape on the hole layout.
This just stirs up so much happiness for me
That first drive was lovely!
Your vids are so great! Never stop!
Great video Erik! Love the course vlogs, beautiful course. Can't wait to travel around to play different courses! This ones top of the list now
Please keep it coming. We need this!
Nothing better than seeing these in my recommended.
"Slappy Wiper" was my nickname on my high school golf team.
I went ahead and liked the video as soon as I clicked the video. Loving the vlogs, Eric!
love these vlogs. great camera views coupled with great commentary!
It is so cool seeing you playing golf
Seeing this new vid on my feed was the best part of my morning.
That 9th hole is stunning. What a gem of a golf course! Solid improvement on the filming this vlog too, well done!
Side note, “slappy wiper”? I thought us ‘strayan’s had some odd sayings, that’s a new one for me!
Beautiful course, loving the course vlogs!
Can’t wait for more like this. Thanks.
"BAHH GAWD" This is groovy, ty @EAL. Also, I might be on an island here but the outside noises (not your narration) sound extremely similar to the audio from Tiger Woods 2004, arguable the GOAT golf video game, great stuff.
Thanks for continuing to put out quality content!
Good job with the dot! Looks so clean and helps show your angle to the green. Nice work. These vids are sick.
Erik you should come to Bend and play some central Oregon courses
Love, love these course vlogs, Erik. I need to re-read my copy of Zen Golf to take those lost balls in my stride like you do! Beautiful course.
No one is going to like you any more if you score any better. In fact, they are going to like you less the more you care about score. Thats my experience anyway.
I’ve no doubt you’re 100% right there, Erik. My ‘new season resolution’ is to chill out more and enjoy the ups and downs equally. Take it easy.
Love the course vlog, wish you had done some of these on some of the crazy courses you have played.
Loving these videos Erik such good content, sheep ranch looks like a small links course on the west scotland like it’s been there for hundreds of years
Wow amazing course. These vlogs are sick EAL
It's 1:04am, I'm on the other side of the pacific, I've never played a round of golf in my life yet I watched every second of this video. The video was put together so nicely I might go and have a couple swings this week. Cheers from Adelaide mate!
Killer course. Killer content. Love the views.
