Small update. Patch 1.1 dropped today to fix a bunch of bugs, so the Sturgeon jump should now work properly without being able to stand out of bounds with the Rainmaker.
Hey do you know how to report bugs to Nintendo I recently found out that if you kill someone that carries the rainmaker above water the rain maker will disappear from the match (for me it was only for 1 minute) and if you want a clip of it here’s the replay code: R6L7-V7E8-RM2R-M306 it happened at 3:37 time left
Think you make an extended version of this video with new stage routes such as Brinewater Springs, Flounder Heights, Barnacle & Dime, Crableg Capital, Robo-Ramen, Unami Ruins, Manta Maria, Marlin Airport, Bluefin Depot, Humpback Pump Track, Shipshape Cargo Co., and Lemuria Hub?
Y’know checkpoints are actually way better than I expected tbh. On a good push you can still easily get the rainmaker again and just keep going, but the enemy team actually has time to respawn and regroup. It’s so good, I really don’t know how I’ll go back to 1 or 2
I could understand 1 because it’s just such a different era but at this point 2 is just a worse version of 3 with stupid balancing ever since the last few updates, I can’t see myself having any reason to play it once I get 3

As someone that primarily plays anchor, I hate it lol. Blasters and buckets just set up right below any spot I want to hold and keep me from actually playing.
I’m kinda surprised for Hammerhead, they didn’t put an alternative route to the far left side to spawn, or for Inkblot they made the left route from spawn that leads to the lower courtyard with the single tree a high-risk/reward alternative route

"For these tests, I used no swim speed or run speed" Fun fact! Your swim speed actually doesn't affect how far you jump, you'll be set to the same speed while jumping regardless of your gear abilities. (At least in Splatoon 2, I'm not sure if this is still the case in S3)
Chara can I just thank you for making these guides. Especially for splatoon 2. Me and my buds joined an esports team for the high school we were in at the time and you helped so much we actually placed third overall in California. And none of us had played in 3 years. Pretty solid video, only complaint/suggestion is talking more about the checkpoints and their points. Its really minor but certain checkpoints give more points then others due to their locations. Its worth keeping a mental note on it. Other then that yea its pretty accurate
Can you put up a gear guide soon? Nobody's really analyzed any of the abilities to see if there's any differences from 2 so idk what's worth grinding for rn
The only difference I have noticed so far is that Tenacity has been buffed. It now gives you a full special as soon as your team has the numbers disadvantage. Hope it gets used. The only other difference is that I think QR may activate each time you are splatter without splatting anyone. (In Splatoon 2 you had to 'die repeatedly') Have not tested this out though. Other than that I don't know any of the nitty gritty balances.
Not at all throwing shade when I say this, but I think there might be something off about your microphone, it's not awful or crackling or anything, but you just sound a little dampened, or muffled. when i first played rainmaker on mahi-mahi resort i was so disappointed, like i audibly went "what is this?!?" at the beginning of the match. they ruined my favorite map in the series
really not sure why they didnt just move the inkblot goal near where the clam basket is placed. it would fix the other route a bit and not really destroy the main route since you just have to squid roll over the gap. would also make jumping over the little statue thing a weird potential alt route.
While I think checkpoints are good, at sets up an opportunity to hold the rm hostage in your base if they haven't gotten a checkpoint with on consequences or risks
You missed 2 things on inkblot 1. The little side of the ramp u can use to squid surge up to the top part 2. That block on their base u can swim on the backwall for extra protection
On sturgeon right side once you get up the ramp you can get on the block and jump up there if you can't get by the main way i don't know about if it saves time or not
Can you do a full comparison of old to new hammerhead since it was changed so drastically? I like the new version but I only have vague memories of the old one so I can't really tell what was changed and I'm sure many other casual splat1 players can't remember either
basically there was a lot of stuff on the sides, and midroute was a massive long line of grates that basically went from both bases. i dont know if it was optimal but with a lot of run speed, you can basically hightail rainmaker down there
Are you coordinating this with dude so that you can make 2 videos each and cover all of the modes? Or maybe you do the routes and strategies while dude explains the modes and how to play them?

Man checkpoints are great! Now instead of games ending in 5 seconds, they end in 10! Also, ranking back up to A rank is HELL with all the X rank players that are also trying to get back to S+ 0-100. Another note: chara isn't good at the super precise squid roll off wall jumps, so i can tell he hasn't played after alterna. I don't blame him though, those jumps are painful to do.
@@DPRK_Best_Korea same. Everytime i'm with a good team while i decide to try and improve on a different weapon, there's no "stick with team and change gear" so i have to leave and immediately get a bad team once i switch to my main.
