Holy shit, I've been horrifically bad with the MiG-15 ever since I got it because I had no clue how to use it, but after watching your video I went from 0 kills on average to at least 2 every match. It really is beautiful how you can squeeze good performance out out such outclassed planes at their BR. This really helped me a lot!
Me 163 is the ultra MiG 15!! Great vertical performance, great low-speed acceleration and maneuverability (with a caveat, I will come back to this), very low-velocity guns, very bad compression/rip, great performance at altitude, great in the vertical. Now, about the low-speed acceleration, a lot of people don't know this, but it's actually not that great under 450 kph. It's still better than 9.0's, but the 163 hits its best acceleration relative to its enemies between 500 and 700 kph. So a nice tactic is to bait into the vertical, use flaps and dive out, then climb like mad at 600 kph. Then you have an instant energy advantage. This is also very helpful when facing enemy 163's - another 163 is pretty much the greatest threat to a 163 and they can be very hard to face, but they will often use the "low speed is better" mentality and lose their energy advantage trying to climb at 300 kph while I blast up at 700 kph. You should do a 163 tutorial soon, I think you would really enjoy the vertical fighting. You can even cut throttle while going vertical against sabres, it's so fun to just watch them massively overshoot and then accelerate right back onto them. Cheers! Edit: the fight against the Yak-23 was insane! This is exactly what I was talking about in 163 vs 163 - they will think "low speed is better" and lose all their speed, while you keep your speed and out-climb them a lot. The Me 163 is such a good plane, you are almost invulnerable if you play it right. You might not get a lot of kills, but you get very few deaths as well. Another fun thing to do against 9.0's is the corkscrew (similar to what you did against the F-100). It's surprising how many of them follow - it works around 40% of the time!
what kills the me is still its super low fuel setting with 6 mins. yes you can extend that time by a lot and its a really good glider. more often than not i could dodge attack after attack while only having 30secs left for minutes at a time but you never have a chance to catch up to enemies or get close enough for your guns when they dont fall for traps. everyone is faster all you can do is bait all day. wouldnt be too bad if the thing didnt rip brutally if you only TRY to do some negative gs to evade or get endurance back when turning....not possible with the me. it will snap like a stick same when you leave the mouse into a turn and watch your back. you have to handle everything manually or youre fucked. you have to treat it like a egg to not rip (unless youre low on fuel). if it still had an airspawn maybe you could compensate for that but without it youll waste too much time TRYING to catch someone that you wont catch and once youre on less than 2mins of fuel the clock is ticking louder and louder. i get anxiety when i play this plane....like for real. you have to love pain and asswhooping if you like that little rocket. i mean its not bad its not the mes fault its just not that valuable in the current meta.
Anything above 70% should be considered WEP. Also it has unlimited service ceiling. I was in 18km with 6min fuel in RB and 26km in custom battle with unlimited fuel (then it returned me to the battlefield).

The other thing I'm learning is that the recoil of the heavy guns pushes your nose down, so you have to lead even more than you think. So make sure your roll is zero'd out when you're banking when you shoot, or it will pull your aim off the enemy's direction of travel.

Hey Fury, can you make more videos about Russian planes? Its really difficult to find educational video about the bias as everybody more interested with American, German and Japan planes. Russians cannot boom and zoom as good as other nations what kind of tactics should we use?
just got the german 15-bis a few weeks ago and quickly realised its strength is in energy fights and i started playing around with vertical corkscrew once i noticed that nothing can keep up with you in that maneuver.. if I'm in a saber I'll always abandon if i see a mig15 or 17 do this cos i know how it ends every time if you follow him (either the mig kills you or his team mate comes in and kills you)

I thought the Mig-15/17 were out of meta too much to be usefull now, but i played them for like 200 battles and i don t think so.... The key for the guns is just tapping the trigger!

im amazed in jets, players follow that corkscrew.....its also creates a great bait for your team mates. i love the in-depth input

Tried these, almost every plane can climb to catch my 15 bis, even when vertical going 900, others catch up.
Well against f100 f4s and MiGs higher than 17 yea....it won’t work. U can still energy trap them and get them slow.
