Has this even been filmed before!? Bait collection didn’t go well, catching only a handful of blowfish, pufferfish, Fugu or what ever you like to call them… possibly the words worst bait??
Until I tested it out and the results where mind bending!!

Mate!!! I don’t even know what to say. Who even uses blow fish for bait and then Bang! So good
Hahaha how good ae!! That session exceeded my expectations massively, the placcy was meant to out-fish the blowfish but the blowfish was on fire, leaves me very confused, was this just a super lucky session or is the blowfish an “A” grade bait for mr snapper 🤔 🤔 😂🤔

I haven't yet tried em out of Perth, but I can confirm that Shark Bay snapper love Blowies.

Haha cheers Craig! Certainly was a lot of fun making this one 😂🐡✅ I had seen blowfish inside the stomachs of snapper before so I knew it wasn’t impossible but really didn’t think it would be that easy haha the fish where mad for the humble ol blowfish 🐡😅✅

Cool ep mate. As you say, I have seen them in snapper guts and regurgitated by other people's mulloway, but never bothered to use them.

I always like to see the bigger fish swim away, not going to lie this one took a bit to get it to swim but we got it there 💪🏼🔥 I’d love others to give it a go to do a bit more study on the blowfish for bait, now I don’t know if that was just a tin ass fluky session or if they truly are a good bait. Just goes to show you to always try something once and challenge the status quo. By the way what kind of tinny is that you have?? looks like alot of storage space!!
Thanks mate! It was my 10 year old sons idea that put me up to the challenge and turns out it was a bloody good idea haha, sadly I sold the boat last week but she was an awesome boat for a small one, I kept it as simple and clutter free as possible & it made it feel like quiet a big boat, it was a 4.6m tattoo “ navagator” hull with a 50hp Suzuki on the back it certainly was a little weapon!!

Hey mate 👋 cheers for watching! In the past I have seen blowfish inside the stomachs of snapper that I haven kept, I knew it would be possible to catch on blowfish I just didn’t realise it would be so easy haha, keen to test them out again to see if that was a bit of a fluke or if blowfish is genuinely a good bait for snapper fishing, a snapper eating a blowfish isn’t going to change the quality of the snapper at all and I would 100% certainly eat a snapper caught on a blowfish.
