Can you please tell me when and what to, did you add the satin enamel. It was just to the white. I dont know the ratio. I am aboutbtry this for the first time. Can you help please or put me onto your tutorial clip. Thank you. Love the work.
I always (99% of the time) give my exact recipe used in the description box. For this one, all the paints were mixed two parts Floetrol to one part paint, even the satin enamel. No other white was added. Add a small splash of water to the white, then thin the others to the same consistency. Hope that helps!
I have only just found your channel & glad i did. I think you create the best cloud pours of anyone ive seen & i must have watched hundreds You are number #1
Thank you so much for you kind feedback! I hope you can catch my latest video...just in case you haven't seen it, I'm giving away 20 pieces of art...deadline to win ends today! 😉
Wow, this is gorgeous, Chris. Love the cloud that seem to rest on top of greenish-blue clouds. And the Payne's Grey gives such great depth to this piece! Beautiful work, my friend! 💗
So gorgeous! You have inspired me to give this a try. My clouds ended up a bit hazy so I probably have to tweak something, but I am so encouraged with my result. Thank you so much for doing all of the heavy lifting for us!
Love the lines and puffy center in this piece, Chris. I have to give your recipe a go. Your Dutch pour recipe worked so well for me that I'm bound to have success with this recipe. I tried your beautiful sky the other day, and mine came out meh, so I added some soft clouds. I need more practice 😏. Beautiful piece, Chris! 😊🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Thanks Tera! I prefer the results with my other cloud mix recipe, but this one is super easy, for sure! Stick with the painting...I know you can do it! 😘
Hi Chrissy! This is a very pretty cloud pour! I prefer less clouds, so this one is fantastic in my opinion!:) Absolutely love the colors you used!:) I hope you're having a great weekend! Thx 4 always sharing! xo
Thanks so much Jessica! 😊 I'm having a mixed bag of a weekend...my last Uncle passed away this morning at age 100...he had a tremendous life, wonderful man, so I am celebrating his memory.
@@ChrisJeszeck Aww I just NOW saw your comment. My deepest condolences my friend. 🙏❤ Celebrating his life most definitely sounds like it is called for from the way you speak of him.😉 100 yrs of age? What an accomplishment of it's own! You are in my thoughts, heart and prayers Chrissy.💕 xo
Waouh...it s wonderful . I would look what you do all day long ...🥰 i didn t understand how much satin enamel you put on the white , sorry it s not my mother tong ... Thanks and congratulations
Thank you for your kind feedback! I didn’t add any white paint, just the satin enamel mixed the same as the colors; two parts Floetrol, one part paint and a little water. 😊
@@ChrisJeszeck thanks so much for your answer . Very kind to you . Ill give a try with the satin enamel . I have to order it from US Amazon ....have a good day ( or good night ..😉)
Really nice, and your website looks great! Are you adding white satan enamel to your colors? Do you find that mutes your colors by adding white vs a blue or other matching colored satan enamel? Also, I find since Michael’s switched to that soft bodied paint it also gives really nice puffy, pearly results.
A pillow is technically only used for the bloom technique. If you're asking about a base coat, I rarely use one. I usually just pour on a bare canvas; my feeling is that a base coat is unnecessary for most techniques. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful! Love the colors.
Thank you. Lisa! Happy New Year!

Chris this is stunning. Did you just use one layer of the cloud mix?
Thanks, Kathy...I rewatched the filling of the cup to see...I added three times. 😉
Really nice, and your website looks great!

Also, I find since Michael’s switched to that soft bodied paint it also gives really nice puffy, pearly results.
I don't usually add it to colors other than white, but I did this time to tone the colors down a bit. Thank you for watching!
Can you use any color for the pillow, and is that poured on a dry canvas?
A pillow is technically only used for the bloom technique. If you're asking about a base coat, I rarely use one. I usually just pour on a bare canvas; my feeling is that a base coat is unnecessary for most techniques. Thanks for watching!
Is it best to have thicker or thinner paints for pouring?
If you want cells, thinner, but overall, I prefer a bit thicker mixes. I feel thicker holds the effects and design better.
How thick is your paint and is the cloud mix the same as the other paint
@rosemarydill4670, yes, all are mixed the same, and detailed in the description box. If you follow my recipe you will achieve the correct thickness. 😉
How much satin enamel do you put in the cloud pour?
I always include the recipe in the description box, but two parts Floetrol to one part Satin Enamel. No other white added. 😉

What happened to those beautiful ribbons??
Not sure what you mean, Paulette...I didn't add any ribbons! 😊
