A follow-on painting from video #179. I’m convinced my art is always better when I’m fearless-a dirty pour with conviction!!! Or maybe I was somehow channeling my feeling of helpless rage and it manifested itself into the painting in the form of a storm. I’d like to believe these reasons over good color choices and careful tilting....at least for today!

Can I ask you one question per every couple of videos? If so.....my first one is; is there a reason you pour the paint against the side of the cup vs aiming for the middle?

Yet the center is what a tornado starts to look like but it'll get a lot darker. I'm just now realizing this video is 2 years ago don't know how I missed it.
Air doesn’t turn green, I’ve been in many. It gets so quite, then wind & the sound of a train, after, the sun comes out🥰🥰
Right before a Tornado it's yellow I have survived two 😁
The cloud is so big ...it has a shadow on the grass..how awesome is that.

Born & raised in tornado (CaNayDo) country, here... and yes. The sky turns a sickly greenish color when there's hail, and hail frequently accompanies tornadoes. It ranges anywhere from a FolkArt Aqua Flash all the way to FolkArt Green Flash, if that helps. 😁

I love this. It is gorgeous. I am still not sure why the white is making the clouds but your other colors don’t do that. I would like to know. I have been watching all your current videos and I still don’t understand why the white does what it does. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy you so much
It’s because I added white enamel paint to my white Artist Loft Flow Acrylic paint. It causes a reaction in the white but not the other colors.

I lived in tornado alley for 28 years and yes, we knew when one was coming because the whole sky turns green. I was in one when I was 3 y/o...nothing scarier.

Karen, how much satin enamel to white acrylic do you use roughly? I have not seen anyone with gorgeous clouds like yours. 30, 40, maybe 50% ??? Thank you ❤️💕

Enamel in the white.
STAHP...well that didn't work. Only in one tornado as we don't have many in Oregon but it was red. Windy hazy and the red like a forest fire.
Im from Michigan and the air turns a sickly green. I was in a tornado in the 2nd grade. That green sky still freaks me out. I love the painting.
It makes an impression, doesn't it? When I see that in the sky, the pit of my stomach tightens up and I gather up the kids & the dogs and head for cover.
I’ve seen a lot of tornadoes living in Arkansas and yes the sky does turn a greenish color. You’ll also see weird cloud formations. It’s very scary but less scary now that we have better ways of predicting these storms.

I absolutely love this! 😍😍😍And I live in Oklahoma🌪smack dab in the middle of ‘tornado alley’’so I’m no stranger to at least a few (~3-10) tornados each season, it’s up for interpretation really, I’ve always though of it as more of a yellow shade, but I could see green. 😺👍🏼

Been in plenty of tornados... Never saw green although the air bored completely still. Hard to explain, until you feel it.. Born and raised in Wisconsin.

If I use 2 oz of white paint and 2 oz of Floetrol how much DecoArt and Liquidtex do I use? Also should I use Artist Loft flow instead of Tube praint? Thanks so much😊
Well I'm in Kansas Central Kansas like an hour and a half from Wichita and it's Tornado Alley where I live never seen the skies or anything turned green LOL. But they sure do turn dark and gray and you don't want to be in a tornado it's scary. Back to watching you waiting for the tada . 😉🤩🤩😊🥳🥳👍👏👏👏🤲🙏🙏✌✌✌✌

Gorgeous piece ...great depth and it definitely looks like a big storm cloud....with the green sky in front, in Oz the green sky means hail stones with the storm. 💕💕

Yes I live on the edge of tornado alley in the midwest and the sky does turn green right before a tornado. Not all the time but it does. Beautiful pour!!!!

I like this painting a lot. It definitely looks like a huge tornado or some kind of storm is brewing and I love the blue color next to the clouds and then the darker, midnight blue or black against that.
