This guy had main character energy.
Anime Protagonist 😂
Also a wild loot goblin.
"The beauty of their women and the flavor of their food made the British the best sailors in the world."
I see what they did there
🤣🤣🤣Church killed most of beautiful women because "they were witches".
Living embodiment of "Heaven doesn't want me and Hell is afraid I will take over."
Its a shocker that Count Dankula hasn't done a Madlads on Jake McNasty
Probably hasn't covered it since it makes Imo and Mad Jack seem tame.
He's on the list to be made. Trust me bro lol
to quote Marcus himself
"Yet..."
Jake passed away at the age of 93 years old in 2013. A true American hero
He is one of those people I would loved to have spoken to
i have a brittish friend and i asked him why their food sucks and he explained that they use those spices for their tea
… I’m mad at how that genuinely sounds like something the British would do, because it also just sounds like it’s a kind of stereotype based joke, and I legitimately am not sure
That colonel wasn't in his chain of command, so he was entirely within his duty to ignore the orders given in favor of the original orders he was given by his actual commanding officers.
That's not how the UCMJ works... especially in a warzone.
@@colbywood1785 It is in some situations. These guys were basically special forces of the time and they were sent to do a job that absolutely needed done. A Colonel can't commandeer a SEAL team any more than he could these men.
@@johnathon007 this exactly
Somebody said on the chat i will say it too. Fuck captain america, i want to see a movie about this guy.
Unedited
I had to change my socks twice on my 15 mile march, and i still got several blisters.
Jake's quote about God not knowing where to put him puts me in mind of that song "Wrong side of Heaven" by Five Finger Death Punch. Makes me wonder if his quote in some way inspired some of the lyrics.
"Mohawk."
"It's just mohawk."
One of my favorite thing is the comments on the original video of all the people who had him as their mail man their whole lives AND THEY NEVER KNEW THIS STORY UNTIL THEY FOUND THIS VIDEO.
That must've blown some minds lol
My man had permanent Devil Trigger since age 10.
My man and his mates literally slaughtered 700 people.
My man saved 5 eggs through close quarters combat and 10 tanks.
My man was sent down by god to wreck havoc, and he fucking survived through all of it.
My understanding is that the English had spices in their food. But when it became easy for the lower classes to get them, the Upper Class decided that spices were no longer fashionable. And the the rest of the country followed suit.
So like much of English history, the nobility made things worse for everyone.
Yeah they spread the idea that strong flavours are gauche and only popular among people who need them to hide bad cooking or ingredients. Nowadays most of us put a bunch of pepper, mustard (the strong English stuff not the American yellow mayo), and Lea&Perrins on practically anything that isn't a dessert or a curry. Also in terms of when Jake was there, rationing was in full effect.
@@TellerynUhh, what? I mean I like some hp sauce with my chips, but I'm not dousing them in it.
In fact I don't think I know a single person who really seriously uses spices pr sauces to any ridiculous point. I'm guessing that's some big city thing.
Damn, the french had the right idea
Something else that's important to consider is that, during the Second World War, spices were not available; steady supplies could not be guaranteed, so they were not subject to rationing, meaning that when they showed up at all, it was in small amounts and they immediately vanished. As a result, you had a population that had either become accustomed to not using spices, or that had grown up not using spices at all and didn't know what they were missing (rationing started in 1939 and did not fully end until 1954), and so there was not a lot of demand for spices among most of the population. Additionally, people either grew up with or became accustomed to the dishes that could be made while rationing was in effect, and so that continued on inertia for a long while (Labour's platform in 1950 included _indefinite rationing_ while the Conservative platform was to end rationing as quickly as possible. Labour retained power, but kept only a 5 seat majority).
It was only when people started traveling abroad more and were exposed to other foods, and especially when the Internet became the power tool that it is that demand for more food started to appear. Part of the reason why Nando's is everywhere is because it's different enough to be exciting, but familiar enough to not be daunting.
Holy Hell this man is a legend.
“I don’t really care about the money, i have blown open every safe from here to Normandy.” 😅
As a combat veteran of the United States Navy, I can honestly say that I would have followed this man into combat. This is the guy I would have wanted to cover my ass when shit hit the fan. I knew guys like this in the Gulf War and I can tell you that they were the guys that we wanted to stay close to. Fuck an officer! We wanted a Jake McNasty.
not to be confused with McNasty, the cardboard box
Fat Electrician covers Aimo Koivunen too! (The Finnish pervatin soldier)
Completely different topic but I LOVE Atlantis. That movie f-cks!
My grandfather was at the Bulge, he was career Army throughout WWII and Korea. He wouldn't talk much about any of it but loved watching Kelly's Heroes.
Everyone else went to war Jake went on Vacation
This guy was acting like he was on his fourth playthrough
Bruh the British eat like the Luftwaffe is still overhead
My father was in England during WWII. He would attest to the fact that the English food was terrible.
YOOOOOOOO YEAH BABY THATS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT... glad ya checked this video out bro this guy was a fuckin badass
Gotta watch the one about the last Native American War Chief.
This old fourth generation vet couldn't help but laugh, when I listened to this. Being that I went into the Army a week after turning 17 ( I spent almost 4 years with the 1st Inf. Before I was old enough to drink) during a time that it was not considered that honorable by a lot of Americans and there were no long lines of people volunteering to join ( being nicknames like baby killers) We had a bunch of crazy ass people and yes it seemed they like them at the time, as long as you keep the crazy shit wrapped around the enlisted, with noncoms and officers off limits to it. Yeah, it seemed the crazy ones were the ones who did the best in the field and loved making the prim and proper look weak if possible. Yeah this brought back a lot of shit I forgot about.
His nickname explains itself and yeeaah...... He was WILD
"he follows the rules of war" ......... Me and Fat electrician "ITS NEVER A WAR CRIME THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!"
What a nice young man.
RE;- British Food. It used to be legendary, with British Chefs in high demand across Europe. Then WW1 happened, and a generation of British Chefs was wiped out, breaking the tradition. British food was beginning to recover by the late 1930s, just in time for WW2 & rationing to wipe out all progress. The final kicker of the reputation of British food, was the London Olympics of 1948, when the worlds athletes & press came to a country that had been under food rationing for 8 years (and would be for another 7, before rationing finally ended in 1955), and was surprised that the food choices were extremely limited. The press, being, well, the press, publicized this fact worldwide, effectively hammering the final nail in the coffin of British foods reputation...
Oh, and Tikka Masala that you mentioned as a counterargument to British food? Invented in Glasgow, in (IIRC) 1968. Completely unknown in India until much later, when British Indian expats started going back & introduced the dish to the subcontinent...
Two things. You mentioned the one curry that was actually invented in the UK. Second, Apparently or so I heard somewhere that there was a time when over spicing your food was a trend in the UK and the nobles being nobles wanted to be different from the riff raff started to eat more "bland" foods. (actually there is a book called "the art of curry" that is a very old cook book from england it just isn't the indian style curry you would think of)
Fat Electrician is the best story teller on RUclips. I've watched so many reactions to his videos and it's always the same. Just pure engagement with the content and people have a hard time pausing because they are enthralled with the story.
Loved the reaction. Hope you react to his video on the battle of bayonet hill. The main protagonists of that story gets a promotion out of a court marshal.
He did.
The movie is "The Dirty Dozen" w/Lee Marvin. Mcnasty's number of men varied between 5 - 13.
F in chat for the egg
F
This video is about what American men can do, and be. Marine Corp says what we are.
14:30 ... so, funny story about where Tiki Masala was invented...
The book is titled “The Filthy Thirteen” and the movie title is “The Dirty Dozen”
A perfect way to prove that he's a true American anti hero is that there are multiple jokes about him taking quite a bit back from ww2, and it's something no one cares about. If the IRS isn't concerned, you're basically a saint.
This American likes beans on toast but, it has to be the tomato Heinz beans. Throw an egg on top and you've got a happy guy.
He is from the Osage. Gives me a certain pride that he represents from where my lineage is prominent. A certain warrior class is there in Oklahoma. Look at the NFL.
The allied armies also gave their soldiers performance enhancing drugs. WW2 week by week did a special on it. Some modern armies still use drugs to this day
People would go to the movie theater every week and see news reels before the feature movies
There is a simple explanation as to why British food sucked during WW2.
Rationing (the last of the food rationing ended in 1954).
And other why it sucks in general is spices got so cheap even non nobles could afford it so nobles stopped using it to be different, then normal people started copying nobles and all food became blunt
If I get 2 hearts back to back I will start going to the gym.
Your move
Just go anyway, you'll thank yourself later
@@why9541 I need validation
@why9541 Just went to re-watch the video, and I am happy to say that i started going to the gym anyway.
He leaned into it, and leaned hard
US Army higher ups: "Jake we want you at this place asap"
Jake: "Yeah sure, I may not be on time but Ill go and Im not saluting you or anything"
US Army Higher ups: "Understandable..... have a nice day"
This is an option, in case you ever want a Plan B
What are the chances that I was listening to this video while playing Wolfenstein
Jake "McNasty" McNiece is B. J. Blazkowicz's spirit animal.
Yeah this dude was playing war on an other level.
Fox in the hen house! 😂
bro sounds like a whole anime character 😂...the D day assassins from 2019 is also based on them
In loving memory of National Geographic, we lost something important
Their story inspired The movie The Dirty Dozen. But it isn't about the.
God bring men like that back to protect us. Lord please hear the cries of the women and children.
"Now it's done on flats"
I think I know what you're talking about, but can you explain.
When in doubt frag out
Tikka Masala isn't an Indian curry!
Superman Rules.
And one ear ;)❤
Someone say logan?
Soooo. No one’s going to talk about how chat was calling Oklahoma midwestern and not Southern like it is? Okay. I will then cause it was bothering me. Oklahoma is in the South not the Midwest. Look it up, it’s not that hard.
Why do I feel like you’re from the netherlands or germany
Pre world war British food was way different necessary food rationing effectively killed British food for generations and it’s still not back to the 1800 levels based on there historical cookbooks that are still floating around
Ex chicken tika masala isn’t Indian at all it was a British export to India the only thing that kinda survived was there baked goods
just found you, can you voice over my funeral
Yes, Superman is a Boy Scout, and is the text book definition of a hero. Batman is a total hero, Batman has never been an antihero, never ever. If you want to know what Batman would look like if he was an antihero, buy a Punisher comic. His argument about Superman is correct, him referring to Batman as an anti hero is ridiculous.
Batman absolutely is an antihero
Society will always place an Angel on the mantle. But doesn’t always know where to place a Demon. Antihero still wins. Bcoz F you. I’m not listening to you anymore . You dont own me
OK
U can't claim 1st time watch then proceed to tell the story and quote it. Ur lying.
sorry dude u talk too much im downvoting u
bruh ur so full of knowledge, you could do the kinda content the fat electrician does really well, give it a shot
case and point 12:49 - idk who that is or wtf ur talking about
Y'all are silly. Since when does saying you have receipts PROVE anything? Please show me where he has proven one word of the shit he's been talking. Y'all seem to assume and take him for his word. How good was his word when he came out after the Tom diss and scolded people for saying it was about Adam not Tom. Then he came out and said he was done with Tom and moving on to someone he was ACTUALLY mad at. That was the video where Adam commented on it. So if you weren't ACTUALLY mad at Tom instead you were ACTUALLY mad at Adam. Why drop two diss tracks and talk all that mess about Tom? Why scold people who were 100% correct that this was butt hurt feelings about Adam. But yet y'all going to act like Upchurch word is gospel. Silly!
What are you talking about dude?
Insane? Way to make money off other people's creativity and research. So you Googling everything he states in the video is content. Brilliant.
You realize that TFE enjoys reaction videos to his content, and has specifically complimented CZ's reactions, right?
