Actually thought you was going to fall through the roof from the way it sounded walking on it & seeing it warping.

what type of sealant do you use at both ends of the roof? And do you make your own 3 inch cove molding for the vents?

    Hi RV Roofing install
I am trying to duplicate the boot for an antenna. Would you share with me what kind of material do you use or recommend I can use to fill it up with?

Using OSB board is a mistake. Any moisture causes the glue to separate within the wood and it falls apart. It is wise to use exterior treated plywood. It is expensive but cheaper than replacing the roof later. My current roof made from the manufacture is OSB and crumbling to pieces. I have no roof leaks. I had a ventless propane heater that caused condensation in the roof and walls and the OSB board failed. I have since removed the propane heater and installed a wood stove. Next summer will have to replace the roof.

I would promote plywood over typical OSB. However treated plywood may not be such a good idea because the chemicals will leach out and are not compatible with other products and could cause the products it comes into contact with to fail. We generally use BC grade plywood. If you have a roof leak and the decking doesn't fit that doesn't mean the insulation binder the decking isn't wet or holding moisture nthat could sponsor mold and also wet insulation is ineffective.

@@RVROOFINSTALLWhich box store or brand is recommended? Not all are made with same quality. In commercial construction roofing we use Cdx plywood how does this compare?

Y'all have elevated RV Roof replacement to an art form! I wish I had the luxury of waiting 4 months to schedule you to do my roof, but I just bought a 97 Mountain Aire in pretty bad shape. So, a couple of questions. I would like to lap over the material the way you did on the sides, where do I get the termination bar you are using? Would you fabricate curbs for me?

You can find RV gutter awning rail online, just do a search. Curbs, boots and other components are all proprietary to us.
