- I tried to finish the interior like a car you would see in the showroom and I tried to keep the engine bay clean and uncluttered. The motor is a 351W Ford, 435 hp, 430 ft-lbs, 10-1 compression with the FAAST EFI 1.
Very nice build Sir
Beautiful car. Great job putting it all together. You can see tons of extra attention was out into the little details.
Beautiful work, your dad is an artist

Outstanding job sir, you did yourself proud!
Kit plane with wheels. Nice
Amazing attention to detail. If I ever build one of these, I would use this as a model for how to do it right!
Great finishing touches really cleans up the quality look of the interior on the sides of the dash
I like the Chevy Air Cleaner bolt. Nice touch.
Beautiful car!
Wow, sweet car and nicely finished
Wow this looks great. If you don't mind, where are you located? You aren't given enough crediit to yourself.
Would a big block fit?
No. Too tall.
Great job! What did You use to fill in the fiberglass matt on the underside of the hood?
I couldn't hear who you said did the cover and engine pieces over the plane going by. What did you say?
Where they making a bombing run on you
That looks like a great interior.
I want to get a Daytona coupe, how much would everything cost (engine, kit, specialist labour if needed), and how much did you personally modify the interior?
Depends on what you want out of the car. You can go from 30k and up. There are several engines that can work with the coupe, so the price kind of fluctuates based around that too. For instance I'm going the Coyote engine route. I can get a hold of a wrecked Mustang, and pull the engine, transmission, and other parts from it for around 3k. One thing I would suggest, is going for the full kit vs the base kit. The full kit comes with all the little bits and bobs you'd otherwise have to track down and search for.
Hi, can this be built for under 30k?
Looks awesome! I was fortunate to pick up a first gen Factory Five Daytona Coupe this summer. Mine has a Factory Ford Racing 392,475hp,. TKO 5spd,8.8 with Levy 5 link. I didn't get to build it but I have great respect for the fellow who did and for you. Great job and many happy miles from Alberta, Canada
Thanks, It was fun and challenging to build and very cool to drive.
I don't see how. I had $50K in mine and did all the work myself.
Plastic filler with fiberglass in it
