Becoming Christine Daaé (in Love Never Dies: Phantom II)

- Here is a makeup tutoring (by request) of how I change from zero (nadda, zilch) makeup into Christine Daaé for the show each night. I love to do my makeup myself as I find it very relaxing. Here is a list of the products I use:
Foundation: MAC Matchmaster SPF15, color 1.0
Concealer: MAC Studio Finish SPF35, color NW15
Powder: unknown mixture from the theater, color, fair/translucent
Blush: MAC Power Blush, color Fleur Power
Eyeshadow: MAC, colors Orb, Texture, and Embark
Brow Color: Art Deco, color 524
Eyeliner: MAC Blacktrack Fluidline
Mascara: Maxfactor Masterpiece High Definition
Lipliner: Paris Berlin, color CR221 and MAC, color Cherry
Lipsticks: MAC Matte, color Pink Plaid, MAC Satin, color Red, MAC Pro Longwear Lipcolor, color Lasting Lust
Eyelashes: MAC, size 36
Eyelash glue: Jofrika

So I just watched a one hour video about make up although I am not interested in it. I just loved to hear you talk for such a long time. ❤

@Christine Daaé She's incredible! And so generous. Taking time out of her day to share vocal tips along with a make up tutorial. Not all performers once they hit the big time are willing to do that for their fans and followers. Ms.Moore on the other hand has a very encouraging and gracious personality. I can't imagine how you couldn't adore her. I hope she records a cover album some day. I'd love to hear more from her operatic repertoire in particular. One of my favorite Coloratura sopranos working today. Supremely talented and super sweet. What's not to love? :)

How do you sing in that corset? serious question.
I'm pretty sure that most of the illusion comes from padding around the waist, not the corset itself. It's important to stay safe when singing, and tight-lacing wasn't a common practice when corsets were used as every day undergarments

Eine Frage: Nehmt ihr noch eine CD auf von Liebe stirbt nie? Ich hab Sie auch live bei beiden Vorstellungen gesehen einmal im 1. Teil als Carlotta und im 2. Teil natürlich als Christine ihre Stimme hat mich sehr beeindruckt so hoch und wunderschön. Und ich hoffe das ihr eine CD aufnehmt ich würde auch gerne diese Musik bei mir zu Hause hören.

Mason Platock I don’t yet have my Tampa schedule but I often go on on double show days for a performance. ☺️ It may be that in the future I have a fairly set schedule and can share my dates in advance but currently I am not allowed to post beforehand when I am going on.

Oh my gosh how are you able to breathe for singing in that corset?? Do you use lower back breathing? Love your makeup!
SongRainbows The top of the corset has elastic strings and the lower portion, though not elastic, is always loose. I breath in sort of "inner tube" way using the back, sides, and front but very low. 😁 I love my corset. It really helps support the gowns so my back doesn't have to bear the brunt of the weight. (It helps distribute it more to my hips).
