Just like you I learned a lot about Triang from John (The Master!). Nice step-by-step approach. Wil look out for more.

I agree with you about John. I was in touch with him for a while, I had been able to track him down when he stopped broadcasting. He had problems with his eyes and also had lost his cell phone.
He told me he was selling off his collection and moving to Australia where his life long friend lives. You may remember he had been out there..
This was during covid so I am sure this complicated things for him. I lost touch with him shortly thereafter . He told me he used whatsapp so maybe a search will locate him.
I think he may have gone to Australia.
Great job with the repair 👍

Thanks for that, cant fault him for going to Australia, who in Britain wouldn't mind more sunshine. On another note im starting the channel back up and have 2 videos almost ready to come out....

Thats who i am mate, what you see is what you get. I do like the Pullman as i said in the video, will get round to buying one at some point, just not one of them £600 jobs. Peters spares told me the other day Bachmann are releasing a new one with a better controller and its going to cost £1k...thats going too far now.

That's a real shame about that ball bearing Paul but at least you noticed it and is an easy replacement, from the test you did then that motor should run sweet as a nut fully assembled again - you could go into business!! ;-) Cheers for now. ..........Graham

LOL im not that good mate. Im always careful when taking those felt pads apart as i know you can lose the ball bearing if you dont, it did explain why the rotor was so tight when i tried it the first time, obviously jammed.

Well you seem to be able to strip down and more importantly put the motors back again so they run so you can't be that bad mate! !! Sorry about the abrupt ending of the phone call - bloody battery on the phone went down again - I think we need new phones!
