    WoW! 🤯So simple and yet so pretty. I think I can manage this. 😍 I haven't knitted in 50 years and want to get back into it again..this could be the pattern to get me back to knitting. Thank you muchly 🤗 (BTW...the yarn you used looks like a roving type yarn...looks soft. I imagine a stranded yarn will look different, but still have that lovely detail up the middle)

    The middle work adds interest to what could be a plain pattern. 😊😊😊

      Yes! That was my intention, to make it simple but still to have some interest to it.

    Just finished this one using Lion Brand Homespun. Came out beautifully! Thank you! Now to finish Easy Knit Diagonal Garter Stitch Scarf. The Diagonal one reminds me of the pattern I used to make face/dishcloths. Have a great rest of your weekend!

      You need 5 stitches for the middle textured bit, and then add an even number to make sure you have equal amounts either side of it (ie 17 stitches would give you 5 for the middle stripe with 6 either side) does that help? I’m pretty sure that’s a long way round of saying yes to an odd number of stitches 🤣

    • @SnufflebeanYarn
      @SnufflebeanYarn  Год назад +1

      You could do it in the round but you’d have to tinker with it to purl every other round or you’d get stockinette stitch

    • @SnufflebeanYarn
      @SnufflebeanYarn  Год назад +2

      I know it as chunky which I’m pretty sure is a bulky 5 weight.

    Could someone please tell me if this pattern is reversible?

    • @SnufflebeanYarn
      @SnufflebeanYarn  8 месяцев назад

      No, it isn’t. But the back looks like garter stitch with an indentation where the slipped stitches are. Hope that helps 🙂

    Can this be adjusted to make a blanket?

    • @SnufflebeanYarn
      @SnufflebeanYarn  Год назад +2

      Yes I don’t see why not! I would work it out as multiples of 15 plus 10 to make each end symmetrical.
