- A little late of an upload for many reasons. Shiny Qwilfish in FireRed after 3 phases. This is a hunt I had been planning to do for a while and I finally got around to doing it. I really enjoy hunting in the Sevii Islands and don't get too much of an opportunity to do so. 40% is really comfortable and I'll for sure hunt the LeafGreen Remoraid someday soon.
On the way, I completed the line for Horsea which is nice.

You have no idea how good it feels to hear "I saw it straight away" in a new video again - good job completing the Horsea line in the process!
This sprite is so good. Really highlights the Poison type Qwilfish has. So many shiny sprites were way better in older games and didn't get translated as well going into 3D era. Congrats on the shiny!
Yup. That's my opinion on almost all pink shinies including kyogre and swampert. Way darker and better looking in the old games.
Same with aggron.
So true, I love how mudkip’s shiny highlights its poison type too! As well as remoraid, wailmer, lapras, vaporeon, omanyte, quagsire, lotad, spheal, and kyogre- all purple shinies on account of their unique Water-Poison typing!

I love Qwilfish, and I totally agree about how cool (and underhunted) these Sevii Islands hunts are - this is a really cool one to see, and one I'd like to do myself some day. Getting that 4% Seadra in the process is still crazy to me, too.

To this day, I still haven't fully explored the sevii islands in these games. Only just the first 3 as part of the story cause I didn't know how to unlock the rest of them as a kid. But I'm excited and curious to get there as part of my leaf green dtq and maybe, setup future hunts (apart from those I already planned in said quest) after hearing your opinion.

Hell yeah Sevii Islands are one of the most underrated shinyhunting spots in the series. I've actually started that same hunt a long time ago but well, haven't hunted in over a year so haven''t found Qwilfish yet.
One of my favourite hunt that I've done was on the Sevii Islands, I hunted the given Togepi egg, but checking shinyness without hatching it thanks to pomeg glitch. That was pretty fun and I got it a little over odds.
Qwilfish is legitimately one of my favorite pokemon, he is so cranky and I love that it got a regional variant and evolution! Qwilfish 4 lyfe
Qwilfish will always be one of those Pokémon I love simply because it’s so stupid

Catching pokemon on the Sevii Isles is indeed a lit of fun ^^
One of the cool ones here on five isle is a very high level Haunter, it’s just cool to find mons so strong, doesn’t happen a lot in older games
