    Since 1987, the forecast of motion has greatly improved. What still needs improvement is the forecast of intensity.

    RIP John Hope. Man that guy was great. I miss the old Weather Channel.

      Not to mention Neil Frank. As I write this he's still alive, at the age of 92. But, he is a great person in the history of meteorology.

      Let's give a shout out to Colleen Wine, Glenn Schwartz, Jeanetta Jones (a COVID-19 victim), and all of the old Weather Channel crew, before the Weather Channel became just another soul sold cable channel. This program aired when the Weather Channel mattered.
