Putting a screwdriver against the alternator pulley of a running vehicle will tell you if the alternator is working..It will magnetize the screwdriver, and pull it magnetically towards the pulley;)
No, I haven't. I didn't think to video the process. What I did was take a razor blade and cut the factory grille out of the a pillar, cutting exactly around the edge of the grille. The size was perfect for the polk tweeter surface mount cups to fit in to. Then I took an epoxy and put that on the backside to keep it from backing out, although the pressure from how tight the cups fit in the grille cutouts probably would have been more than sufficient.
