@David Aguilera ; It can be done, but I had the car on a hoist because the transfer case has to be removed with the transmission. At least I didn't have room to get to the bolts that hold the case on the back of the trans. It's a real pain!

@David Aguilera ; The "Book" shows about 6 hours. It's usually longer due to rusted bolts and so forth. The time is for a fresh-off-the-line vehicle at the factory garage with a Ford Factory Technician doing the work. It took me a lot longer.
