- This setup seems to work just fine despite what I had read online. Even the lowest slot of the provided sleeve for the Q Up was too high for the tonearm, so it is attached directly to the surface of the turntable with the provided adhesive strip.

love the q-up had the same thing with my pro-ject debut 3 it would not fit right wanted to use the slide holder with the tape so as not to ruin the wood finish for future adjustments but needed it lower so I sanded down the plastic lifter as evenly as possible got it to work it bothered me that sanding the lifter the silver color was missing on top of lifter but I found a silver metallic sharpy pen that matched exactly and repainted it now it works did not have to use a glue on wood base and am able to adjust it when I wanted ,love the u=turn table the tone arm is a great looking tone arm and its design is perfect my only neg about u-turn is that you have to pay for a cueing lift ,you should get it with the TT even the cheapest most lower forms of TT's have a cueing lever ,I talked to one of the reps there first they were very polite and professional they were very nice to talk to but the excuse really did not explain why you have to pay extra ,they have a great starter TT's for beginners which is a good deal but no cueing lever ,my thing if you are new at this and never used a TT and most of them carry the ortofon ome5 which I use it great but would'nt a novice be a little shaky on dropping a tone arm with no lift ?????? be his or hers first time using tt thats my only peeve ,love the color it really popped on vid and the improvement on the channel where belt goes the platter is great that was my other neg using a round belt on a flat surface would make it slide off which was one of the complaints about the u-turn as I saw on many unboxing vids on u-turn ,great vid JRo
Yeah, I'd like to see the Cue Lever included or lower price than $50.
