Hexapod: A six legged walking mechanism with LEGO

A couple years ago I saw the Motorized Steampunk Walker Mecha Tank created by consular_ship, who shared it on Flickr back in 2009.
This sparkled my interest in LEGO mechanisms, and my first moc was an attempt to replicate it.
Now, with this reworked version of the hexapod, I want to share a very accesible and easy to build model to anyone who is interested in walking machines, hoping to spark that same interest and enthusiasm on others.
