I've superimposed faces many times in the past, and then spent tons of time trying to match colors. I'm delighted to discover this tool AND that I have it in my CS6. Thank you bro, bookmarked.
i have tried every which way and the lasso tool takes the whole pic and all the menus you want me to press are grayed out. any assistance would be great .
@Blue Lightning TV Photoshop when i click auto merge layers there is a transparent gap around the face even after i select the options content-aware fill transparent areas could you help me?
Hi, Marty. Thank you for this fantastic tutorial. I have the CS6 version but mine doesn't have the "content-aware fill transparent areas" so after the auto-blend the gap between two pictures gets pixilated & there'll be a transparent area between them that I can't fill no matter how hard I try. Do you have any suggestions?
Adobe introduced Content Aware Fill in version CS5, so your version should have it. If it's grayed out, go to Image > Mode > RGB color, 8 bits/Channel. If it's still grayed out or is missing, Adobe states, "To Reset Content Aware Fill box, hold down the Alt key on your keyboard. The Cancel button will change to Reset. Click on that Reset to get it back to defaults."
@@BLTV_Photoshop Thank you so much for the quick response. Anyways, I couldn't find the box to check "content-aware fill transparent areas" from auto-blend so I tried different things to get rid of empty spaces between two layers, and it found a way to get the result without using content-aware function :)
I appreciate your comment and suggestion. Clearly, my teaching style isn't for everyone. Fortunately, there are enough people out there who like what I do and how I convey it. Because my finished images are by no means simplistic, many of my subscribers are, in fact, experienced users.
My lgbtqa friends and relatives would disagree with you. 😉 Besides, I've made a career on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in the 90s & 2000s melding guys2gals, guys2guys, & gals2gals.
