I've worked offshore of the eastern U.S. in commercial fishing boats, and in the North Atlantic and North Sea, on a seismic research vessel . you have the water down pat . and of course the ship is beautiful.
@@Mgaming61 I don't bother what they where referred to, I know the Germans called her Der Bismarck, but I allways called her die Bismarck.(i also learned it that way) So go with what you like, don't think that should be the problem :) the model is still amazing as is the ship

Nice job! I know this kit well. It sits on a shelf in the box with it's Hunter deck because I'm not worthy, yet. I'm starting with USS Ward first. This nice video made all those teeny tiny parts look HUGE! It also increased my confidence that Hunter deck will fit nicely right outa the box.
The model looks fantastic. Those details are insane. I have Bismarck in 1/350 scale and even with photo etched parts it does not compare to this kit. Wish i could make railings that well. These are the most difficult parts to work with.
I didn't know that you're a Korean...anyway, 미국에서 살면서, 얼마전 다시 모형만드는것을 시작했는데, 여러 영상을 보면서 배만드는 영상도 보면서 몇주전 1/2000 scale Tirpitz 영상을 보고, 신기하고 잘했다고 생각했는데, 이 영상에서 계속 subtitle 이 한국어로 나와 혹시 ...어쨌든, 작은 스케일의 배들을 실감나게 잘 색칠하시네요.. 배도 그렇고 작은 스케일의 모형울 더 디테일하게 꾸미기 어렵지요...그래서 더 대단하다고 느낌니다. 모형도 그렇지만 diorama 를 만드는게 진짜 어렵지요. 다른 사람들의 ocean diorama 들도 보면, 과장되게 한게 많은데, 이 diorama 의 물결이 실제 바다와 제일 비슷하네요.

The camouflage pattern you applied here is inaccurate. This pattern here has been used for only few hours during Bismarcks stay in norwegian waters, before her breakout. But before she left norwegian waters, the diagonal stripes on the hull were removed, only some white areas near the waterline stayed, also the darkened front and aft sections have been painted over with the lighter grey of the main hull. 15:23 to 15:28 : these auxiliary boats are misplaced where you put them. They don't belong there.

Wow! Sincerely, your ocean work is simply superb. One question... Which colors have you used in the ocean? I'm reffering that you are used in 23:40 (base sea color), and the other one used in 24:17 (highlights). I suppose that when you are detailing the water foam you are using a diluted white. definitely trying this out with belfast , im wondering can the snow powder simulate ice on the deck … do a 1942 arctic convoy scene with the sailors in their duffel coats
Out of curiosity, why not paint some of the pieces of the superstructure or deck guns before assembling them? It seems like it would be much less work than assembling and masking.
