  • HMS Prince of Wales was a King George V-class battleship of the Royal Navy. In her brief but storied career, she was involved in several key actions of the Second World War, including the May 1941 Battle of the Denmark Strait where she scored three hits against the German battleship Bismarck.

    Great build, also really like the weathering. And there I got a question, what thinner and what clearcoat do you use so that when removing the excess wash you don't rip the paint of, got this problem so I can use tamiya Paneline only very carefully! But amazing build this is :)

    • @KumaModels
      @KumaModels  3 года назад +1

      Thank you very much! I use Tamiya X-22 clear thinned with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner. Ratio is 1:2 (paint : thinner). I let the clear coat dry at least 24 hours before I do any panel wash. Then I use Tamiya Enamel thinner (X-20) to remove any excess.

      @@KumaModelsHello I've been trying to also make one can I ask a few questions when buying one of a model kits
      1. Does it come with the paint?
      2. Does the wooden deck also comes when purchasing?
      3. Do they also include the glue when purchasing? If no what is the glue you're using?

      @@International_Corn Hi!
      1. No, I bought the paint I used separately.
      2. The wooden deck came included with the Photo-Etch set upgrade that I bought separately. No wooden deck is included on the basic kit.
      3. No glue is included. The glue I use for the plastic parts is Tamiya Extra Thin Cement. For the metal photo etch parts I use Loctite Super Glue.
