I mostly play Udyr toplane and something i noticed is that people underestimate Udyr`s W, if Udyr`s shield is maxed its pretty much like Riven`s E except it last 6 seconds and with the heal that provides your pretty much are unkillable in a 1v1.Since i max W first most of the time (Against range champions or high damage like Jax,Riven,Ornn etc.) i like to go for Spellthief's Edge for first item since i mostly gain 1000 gold in 20-30 min and also when its upgraded it gives a lot of ms to Udyr.
You can drag at lvl 3. 1 in Q and 2 in W. Make sure you have 2 smites available. Use first smite after a few sec and then the 2nd will be ready to end it.
If I can say one thing as fellow Godyr main, when playing panth always start turtle first if he has his passive up! If you waste E then he can usually stun and get away. So I'd recommend go in wit W and then get that proc off sheen and a nice bear stance then follow with Q. Take it if you like it just some productive feedbacc. Overall great gameplay and tutorial!!
Do you rush triforce before upgrading the stalker's blade? I'm worried that doing so may delay my early power spike as I'm waiting for the triforce to come online.
SirTrollingham No, I typically rush my Tiamat first, then build my stalkers blade, and after that go for triforce. The thing is though, it is situational, make sure you don't need to build any tank items prior to the triforce.

Hey, just another udyr one trick here for discussion. I'll follow your partern and talk about runes first: ----Though i played a page very similar to the one you displayed, not too long ago, i find that udyr doesn't really need the dmg from [press the attack] and after some test, it turned out for me that Going [Phase Rush] grants you more mobility, stickyness, invulnérability to CC as well as giving more ad for your tiger stance through the sorcery tree anyway, and you can still get 18% AS from [legend alacrity] which is all udyr needs by default. I still finish my first route by 2min45 sec, 75-80% life on blue side, 100% life on redside. This allow to easily pick up a first blood right after the redbuff, as udyr dmg lvl 3 are higher than most jgl, and phase rush allows you to stick to anyone even if they have cc. So what do you think about phase rush and the added advantages it gives regarding kitting and mobility in general? ITEMS now: --- Maybe it comes down to the rune choices too, but don't you think that the [skirmisher's saber] is better on udyr? You don't have that much difficulty in getting to enemies, so the added dmg reduction and dmg is always welcome as a bonus duelling tool while you slowly go for your tanky items later in the game, no? -Also, maybe that's just me, but i find that the [Enchantment Warrior] slows me down too much on the build: if i go for it, there's a stage in the game where i'm too squishy. Have you tried skipping warrior directly for triforce? Then again, it all ties together because i later build a sterak's which compensate for the dmg i don't get from the enchantment warrior anyway, but i'll develop on the steraks farther down the line. -Don't you think that a [ZZ'rot] is enough for Armor AND magic resist? I see it as almost core, as both mendatory, and sufficient; as a first item after your core (tiamat, jungle item, boots, triforce), for resistances, i think it's more than enough as it grants both stats plus some sweet ms for split pushing or the TF around buildings (not even mentionning the active). -Also, why don't you consider [Sterak's Gage] for your build? It provides udyr with both WAY HIGHER damages, and a lot of extra tankyness too. I know it's a more glass canon oriented option (debatable), that's why you can build it depending on the situation! I mean, either you're way ahead, and you build it after [trynity force] to snowball harder, or the game is a struggle and you go for zzrot after the tryforce, and then build sterak's. -Late in the game you can sell your unfinished jgl item for the extra slot. I know it was hella long, i hope i didn't bore you (and that someone will read me x) ). Please, tell me what you think about the things i suggested!
Pierre Levrero I like your thinking, I have definitely seen Phase rush used very effectively. The one you said you would build and path is something I definitely agree with in terms of using phase rush. That's the nice part about this year's ranked season, there are so many options to take with runes in particular, I absolutely love it. Personally I like going for aftershock which gives me a good boost for my defences, and build blue machete with green upgrade. I tried almost all runes on udyr and think all of these except the aftershock leave him too squishy imo. I might feel like that because I actually love towerdiving and most often I'm the one taking the tower aggro. My full build usually looks like machete, triforce, mercs, sterak, zz'rot, titanic hydra. 160 armor, 140 mres (doubled after using aftershock), 290 ad, so the dot damage is insane. About runes, aftershock, unflinching, conditioning, revitalize. Feel free to choose any secondary tree. I tried all of them and all work good, but my personal favourite is triumph and legend:alacrity from the yellow tree.
I am a new lol player and i'd like to learn jungle so bought udyr. Im not a good player at all. Whenever I play a normal game and take udyr every single time the team mates are crying about my lack of skill or anything else they find. How are u suppose to learn this game when team mates are constantly burning you? Playing against bots is boring because theyre to predictable.. Any tips?
Totally understandable, unfortunately the best two things I can recommend you do is to either 1. Ignore them and keep practicing or 2. Mute them and just play your game. Don't worry about under-performing in normal matches, that's what they are there for. Good luck!
Double_A thanks for the reply. I think the only way to learn this game and the jungler roll in general is to just keep playing normal games and work myself up to get better. Muting sounds like a good idea, the community is the most toxic one I have ever experienced.... sadly.

Udyr can solo dragon level 3, so i usually try start there topside buff, then clear my blue side then red skipping krugs and chickens cause no aoe then scuttle then either take dragon or gank mid then if its suitable maybe invade his blue side
Liam Thomas I like that route! Honestly it’s all about preference, whatever route you find comfortable and works for your champ is the best way to go. You’re right though, Udyr is really unique in that sense, to where that works.

AmirHossein Etemad At 6 stacks it gives 48% attack speed, 24% bonus AD, and 24% bonus AP. So honestly it’s a very solid item on Udyr, definitely recommend it for a carry build!

Anyway, nice video, just I don´t know about lvling W as second, the shield is nice but since you are not building AP it does not give you enought shields and the lifesteal does not grow with levels. E on the other hand give you so much MS. Were you trying different runes on him too? GL and keep up the good work
bricks So as for the red smite, that's certainly a viable option! It would work great as well. And the reason I go damage jungle item is for the early CDR, but mostly because of the DOT damage you get from his Q. It's based on your bonus AD. But honestly nothing wrong with going attack speed smite either.
