- Built during Cedar Fair's short Staggered Seating shopping spree, Diamondback was one ride that really caught me by suprise. This ride is one of the best hyper coasters I've ridden on the Coaster Ordinance, so good that its one of the only three hypers to beat Nitro! You have to come out to Kings Island if you want to experience this one of a kind thrill ride! Hope you guys enjoy!

my home park is Six Flags Great America and while Ragin Bull is fun I wish it was more like Diamondback. more airtime hills and less twisty twisty!
I’ve been dying to ride this since I was a little kid, but I’ve always been too much of a sissy. My friends and I are going here to Kings Island in a little over a month and they all love this ride. I want nothing more than to ride with them, but I could never build up enough courage.
Its ok to be afraid your first time, my best recconemdation is to ride something as a warmup before riding Diamondback if your still nervous about riding it. Mystic Timbers is a Wooden Coaster that is nearby Diamondback, and it was designed for all ages to enjoy. I suggest you ride that first and see how you feel, and then ride Diamondback if you feeling brave enough. I highly recommend you ride Diamondback though, its seriously a fun ride
