MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! I luckily managed to visit the WBTourLondon just before the recent lockdown (masks were worn all day, social distancing was strictly in place, tbh... it was pretty much deserted - it felt very safe!) for #HogwartsInTheSnow! I hadn't shopped in the gift shop for over a year... so of course I took all of my gringotts coins.

why call it ravenclaw if it has an eagle, just asking as I have just started to read the first book (chapter 2 ), so don't know if it is addressed or not.

(Love the critique of the Ravenclaw ornament... my house just cannot seem to get proper recognition even from the people who are supposed to be the experts!) Isn't bronze being ravenclaw's colour is the most basic knowledge ever? Or were they intentionally match the houses' colour because hufflepuff was also gold
@@milkeyway7105 I believe a lot of the merch tends to match the films, which changed it to silver and a raven :\
I know. I am a hufflepuff and people always say that hufflepuff is the most "underated" or "worst likings" but i think that its ravenclaw that they get all wrong.
@@milkeyway7105Multiple sources have said the color was changed to silver for the movies due to how the two colors appear onscreen, which I can kinda-sorta let go. The fact that they can't seem to get the right avian species to represent the house, on the other hand, is nutso.

original looks like annimal that I think I saw in some australian animation movie
Pretty sure in the books they were described as looking like badgers with longer snouts, no idea why in both film series they made them look so weird (less so in fantastic beasts though)

The only thing I was thinking is that branded clothes, Disney ornaments and Samsonite suitcases are also pretty/ even more expensive, so if this is what she likes, she should definitely splurge on it. And if the sweaters/ jumpers, etc. are pretty good quality, the prices are even doable I think.
I've never understood why Ravenclaw's house animal isn't a raven. It makes the most sense not just because of Rowena's last name, but also because raven's are one of the smartest animals in the world.

Cherrys new trunk would be perfect for her to make into a Magical Christmas 🎄 Trunk. Store all her Christmas decorations in it. Especially with how hardy it is. Would be great for storing valuable, fragile items. And easy to find each year.

God. I loved all of the stuff and the Christmas jumper you’re wearing is absolutely beautiful. As a Ravenclaw, I’m always upset that the merchandise is just not accurate and doesn’t do Ravenclaw justice :( the bauble is still amazing though 😍
Tbh I feel like we should have a national (england) Harry Potter day. Where all the cast or some like come together and like it is very Harry Potter themed. It would be good if there was something like this.

I have made things such as the snitch,a prophecy,wands (15),acceptance letter,my own candy container,tickets,quidditch things,basalisk fang,potions (17) and I have a few other things that I bought in my school for a BSM (I'm Nepali) and I dont have many materials to make them but I love it.Cherry!! Watching your vids are so exciting and i always get new ideas on what to make next!Thanks

I have a Harry Potter Christmas tree with a head wig sat upon the top.... it’s so pretty I love it
I feel like the emblem at the front of the trunk is upside down... because if you set it down 'on its feet' isn't the emblem upside down?
i think its suppose to be more of a decorative trunk that you dont take on journes. so if you just set it on the floor with the clasps facing away from the wall the emblem is properly visible

@Devos Lemmens Well, according to Pottermore, they sometimes sort me into Gryffindor but mostly Ravenclaw and according to other quizzes I am Gryffindor.I have got a lot of characteristics of both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw....According to BuzzFeed I am 33% Gryffindor, 32% Ravenclaw, 22% Slytherin and 13% Hufflepuff...Well, they aren't wrong though

I have the Moaning Myrtle mini figure from the blind bags!! I have 8 out of the 16 figures at the moment!
My dad and I are HUGE lego fans and over the years he has become very good at feeling the packets in the shops to guess which character is in the pack 😂 thanks to him i managed to get Griphook and Professor Sprout with her little mandrake who i have been after for a while!!
