I love watching bow builds. There is always something new to learn and also different manufacturers have different systems for tuning etc... One of my favorites was the Lift 29.5 can I tune this in under 2 hours and go hunting the next day video. really cool. I also watched a ton of the arrow build videos. I wouldn't worry too much about the algorithm the stuff you are putting out is helping people.
@JoshandTim MFJJ, I missed if you mentioned it, but did you use the stan axis for your speed goat? This western hunter shot his first whitetail last week, and lost his release during the recovery, so I'm on the market for a new one! Great content boys, keep up the food work!
Great stories and podcast as always. Love all your archery videos. Josh I got recently a pair of boots from Under Armour. One of their “military’ tactical” lineup, Valsetz it’s name. Don’t have a long testing in it how durable in long term, but it’s crazy light. 8 inches tall and way lighter than my merell hiking boots! They supposedly have size 15 according to their website.
43:54 It depends on the bowbuilds: If I watch a build I watch to learn; I got a press and work on a couple of bows. I don't need to see the same bowbuild twice, especially when it's just another flagship bow. But if it's different bows I could see myself watch a couple to pick up on the nuances.
I love seeing these podcasts in my feed. It means I'll be adding vital information to my mental toolbox. Hearing Josh say triple digits on his pronghorn shot was crazy. Just a 1 mile an hour breeze at the wrong time and you miss it completely. And it's not like they're good sized either. I wouldn't take a triple digit shot on a moose, let alone an antelope. Just not that confident. And I have never shot past 50. I'm starting to creep my way back further away from my target, though. I'm kinda spoiled with short shots.
All your shit MFJJ is awesome by far you create the most entertaining/educational content. Fingers crossed on winning one of your bow drawings so can make the trip up and meet you and the crew! Keep at it!
As far as the different channels or the same channel, I'm in for all of them. I truly enjoy the atmosphere you have, getting the product insight from you and the guys in your shop is fantastic, and the shooting and tuning information from you is appreciated more than you know.
Bow builds with more up close shots for those of us learning from you guys! Would love to see how to get a bow back to peak weight etc. Thanks for the content!
@JoshandTim - Hey Josh, FYI Your post with the antelope is showing the "Not mentioned" broadhead. Unless that one was just for pictures and you shot with a different one. Either way, I love the one showed in that picture, they fly great and have had great success with them down here in Texas. Keep the good content coming!
Great podcast as always! I wear size 15 or 16 depending on the boot. Lowa seems to have the best selection of those sizes. Everything from lightweight hiker to heavy duty mountain boots. Hope this helps.
@@dennybirchfield Pronghorns are often called antelope, and indeed they do look much like their Eurasian and African cousins. However, pronghorns are a separate species, belonging to the taxonomic family Antilocapridae (in fact, they are the only surviving member of that family). They were given the “antelope” nickname by Lewis & Clark who compared them to the antelopes of Eurasia and Africa.
I feel like me and Tim are on the same archery path! I started target last year to shoot more and try other Avenues and I love target now! I shoot my first 300 2 months after starting and haven’t shot one sense. Love the podcast and watch every video on all tim and josh videos and elkshapes. I’m starting to love indoor and shooting all year! Great podcast
Look at Hoka's kaha2 gtx. I'm on my feet all day too and these rock and are super lightweight and come in a 15. They will not probably last no where near as long as your crispys...but man they feel good on the feet.
With the conversation about building bows..remember ifnyou are teaching..think back to school..repetition is key..and you never know when a video would go viral
Always a good start to the week, not that it's my place to say. But MFJJ wanted to make a 2nd channel, I would suggest making it for only product reviews for everything you have for sale on the website and have the video attached to the product. Wild amounts of work just an idea that you could Still delegate.
MFJJ, my opinion is when it comes to your videos, less is more. People only have so much time to watch videos on RUclips. When I see you put out 3 videos in a week, I usually pick the one video that is most intriguing to me.
I want to upgrade from from index to fine tune my shot, i am fairly good with my shot, quite good out to 80-90 yards past that opens up a bit, would u recommend a hinge or thumb release to get away from punching
I have two targets outside my door set at 30 and 50. While I’m making dinner, after dinner, I open the door and shoot out of the house. A number of years ago my wife didn’t like it all. Now it’s just normal and I broke her down😂. shoot at least 20 arrows every night.
Use the Channels feature in YT under this account - *please* don't go down the path of multiple accounts. It's frustrating when people do that. Also, recent view count spikes: perhaps it's seasonal? Eastern hunting kicks off now-ish, so you'll naturally have people scrambling or trying to get into the mindset and hammering YT videos this time of year.
How would one talk a bowtech into watching all your (how to build bows) videos,, I feel weird that I know more about tuning and adjusting a bow and I don’t even own a bow press,,??
Anyone shot a deer with a Sevr and the tip bend over that happened to me this weekend it hit the top of the heart and took out both lungs I don’t c how it should’ve bent
More hunting stories this Fall?! We’ve got a few heaters lined up these next couple weeks.. anybody been out in the field?
I’m in Montana now chasing elk. Can’t believe I have cell service on the mountain. Slow morning, this helps.
Just trail cams so far need Oct 1st to come. Pics of the white tails during light hrs is promising and hoping to fill the freezer. Get that 300 Tim!
Can’t wait
Never bow hunted and quit rifle hunting 15 years ago..
but your stories are really making me wanna give bow hunting a try..

I watch everything you guys make.

thanks for asking about the give away...congrats on the goat
Glad to have ya back.
Good to be back
Love to see more about getting set up and the “secrets” about target archery.
100yd shot on a prong horn is pretty impressive. Congrats on the belt 😂
Bow builds with more up close shots for those of us learning from you guys!

I’m so glad u chopped that wood more carefully 😂 I luv ur chats guys. I learn so much and appreciate it!!

Lowa renegades have been great
The hunting stories are the best, we all have a few, you have a great platform to share them on. Congratulations on the pronghorn
It's antelope

Love mondays!!!
Same ✊
Hunted speed goats down here southern Idaho the last month. Definitely a rough season.
You guys should bring on Dorge Huang btw.

Like the bow builds
As someone who wears a 15 shoe, it is always hard for finding boots. Keen and Columbia have options. The Crispy boots are just so expensive.

Hinge with a click or Stan clicker button
@@JoshandTim awesome thats what I was thinking, appreciate all the info from the channels,
Can you do a cam lean video on the pse's please. Love the content. Huge fan
Cam lean can be a PITA on the PSEs. You gotta make sure to twist the yokes as well or the draw stop will slip by the cable.
Danner, Altra, Oboz, and Lowa makes size 15 boots.
Surgical tubing on that strap will help that release from rotating.
I love my zamberlan 1017s
The belt just looks right on MFJJ.
I’d look at surgical Tubing and or heat shrink instead of electrical tape
Antelope heart with stuffing

When can you talk about the new broadhead? I'd be interested in trying some love doing my testing and tinkering
Was it bowmars new mechanical?
You could do a whole Video on how you got the 350 spine XV to tune and shoot as well as you did with the SX-80.
I second this. Please make this video or do a very in-depth video on tuning a long draw fast bow with light arrows
It wasn’t a 350 spine, 350 grn
@@joshuaclark5796 I’d have to go back and watch the original video on it but I think it was a 350 spine 340 grain arrow
In the very beginning of the last one before he went on the hunt he says the build.
If it's not top secret, what camo pattern was MFJJ using on this hunt? Congratulations on the antelope.
Hey guys guess what. Josh is super busy!😂
51min in and just now realized Josh is wearing a wrestling belt 🤣, been wondering what's on his shirt the whole time
What’s the broadhead???
Please bring on Justice Snyder! We need to his 2 cents!!

Broadhead looks to be a sevr, but I could be wrong. They do make them in titanium!
Anyone shot a deer with a Sevr and the tip bend over that happened to me this weekend it hit the top of the heart and took out both lungs I don’t c how it should’ve bent
When do we get to hear about the new broadhead?
On his instagram on his pic of the antelope he has a sevr in his bow so that might’ve been what it was
Story time kids gather around!
It’s on like donkey Kong
The pic mfjj posted on insta looked like a sevr 🤔
How about a regular day with mfjj or tc with one of your other interest golf cooking other hobbies home life change it up peek their Interest
So many people want to buy more stuff to fix there problems instead of putting forth the real time tuning and shooting
I hope there's lots more hunting stories along with the norm.
Alright Tim, as a proclaimed boot whore, who makes 4E width plus hunting boots? I can never find one that's true to width for my hobbit feet! 😂
OK, this may seem like a stupid question. But will we see @elkshape on the channel at all?
