¡Me encantaría!
I like the videos, I find them a bit more challenging though than most intermediate spanish videos. I think my brain is like hearing the spanish then getting conflicted because it sounds sort of spanish but it isn't LOL
You beat me to it. At first, I didn't make the connection with just the Portuguese video, but now the Italian video. It seems too coincidental. I feel like new teachers are being introduced for Dreaming Languages and this is the way to premier them. After all, I don't find half an hour with Portuguese and half an hour with Italian to be a good use of time in getting exclusively Spanish input. So I think it's a clever way to introduce new teachers for new languages.
@@erwinfelis I’ve just been working through the Comprehensible Thai RUclips channel since they have like 1500 hours of content in Thai. I jokingly think of it as the Dreaming Languages hidden level lol
I love this series! Like others, I understood the Portuguese one more, but only slightly. I'm surprised how much I understood of both. I hope there will be a French one 😁 This makes me excited for picking up another romance language some day.
Well same but after a year of studying and dating a Spanish girl for 7 months who mind you only speak vary basic English It shouldn’t surprise me I also have to speak Spanish daily at work
@jeremybeaverson7167 I'm having doubts about being about to speak it..but as long as I can understand it I am happy..the more I learn the more I realize I don't know..dreaming spanish is helping alot tho
@@BadNewz52 the only thing I don’t like about this channel is its Spanish how a English speaker would say it for the most part From my first hand experience it’s vary different in the real world Because people speak a lot faster and use lots of slangs But for the most part even using a lot of the wrong words I know I do I can at least get my point across and be understood But I’m sure you have had conversations with non native English speakers so just imagine that’s how you sound to them And accept it’s ok because you haven’t spoken it all of your life
With all due respect, what's the point of dropping a 30 min video with an Italian speaker when that time can be used featuring a Spanish speaker to get actual input. I don't think anyone is under any doubt that Portuguese/Catalan/Galician/Italian/Spanish are all mutually intelligible to varying degrees. All that pontification about not speaking or reading before a certain time only to then drop videos with languages containing several different sounds than Spanish.
i think they just do it because the similarities and differences interesting. and maybe some of the viewers are interested in traveling beyond only spanish speaking countries, to Italy or Brazil. Or perhaps, some of the viewers may be from those countries and they get to see their mother language represented 🤷🏻♀️ I imagine it must be a challenge for the DS team to constantly create fresh and interesting content, so they try out new ideas. I enjoyed this video, because of the similarities and differences of the sounds of both languages.
I actually understand a lot of what he is saying without studying a word of Italian in my life it’s vary usefull for a more advanced Spanish speaker and even better for a non native speaker It’s also vary cool 😎 And it’s to teach you how to listen better

@@zoey1925 People from Italy or Brazil or Portugal are under no delusions that their language isn't similar to Spanish. For one, Brazil is surrounded by Spanish speaking countries and gets a lot of visitors from them. They interact with Spanish speakers all the time. I'm sure it's a challenge for DS to create new content but there are several gaps in the platform like more creators from Spain which should be addressed before gimmicks like this.

Wow! What an original comment! I have never seen anything like it before.

Spanish and Italian are very nice 😊. Muy bien André.❤
Tante grazie Andrea!
I’ve been wanting to learn Italian after Spanish so this was super cool

Dreaming Spanish is cooking up something serious 👀👀 They've featured an italian and brazilian speaker right before the new year... Could it be?!?!
I know right. This feels like foreshadowing the drop of a new language :)
I only hope that's what's going on

They should go Arrowverse with it and have Dreaming Spanish, Dreaming Portuguese, and Dreaming Italian
But great video as always! Thanks Andrea and team! I support it!! 🙂🙂🙂
Luz 😊
I had Latin at school for a while . Started learning basic Spanish few days ago and can follow that conversation with ease.
I could understand a little if the Italian but. It that much. Very easy to understand Andrea.

2025 Dreaming “romance language” being hinted. Pablo said big exciting things for 2025 hmmm- algún día might be sooner than you’d think!
Its crazy that spanish doesn't sound so foreign to me compared to Italian

Im Half italian,im from Brasil,i "must"understand all this people...
a french comparison video would be so interesting!!!
French pronunciation is quite complex, so it is more difficult to understand for a Spanish or Italian speaker.
This was way harder than the Portugese one for me.
The answer is
Yes
Enjoying the comparison videos! Which was easier for you guys? Portuguese or Italian?
Portuguese
Portuguese 100%
Portuguese was way easier for me too
Same.

Can spanish speakers understand chinese?
😂 i like this idea
