- While a Kubota Mini-Excavator may look intimidating from the ground, operating one is all about simplifying. Focus on one motion at a time and take it slow and steady until you’re comfortable.

This video might help me secure a $30-$50/hour job that I'm interviewing for today 🤘🏻
How’d it go?
@@ItsMeG1 they wanted to offer me the position but no benefits, I ended up at an energy company with pay in the same range and full benefits. Today, I emptied a roll-off dump filled with mud; using the mini excavator 🙌🏻
I wish Jeff from Kubota tractor would come out and help every time I hire an excavator. He seems very helpful.
Is that NOT going to happen if I hire one?
And by the time you're done reading the manual and taking the test, we'll be back to pick up the machine
Jason Shafer for mini excavator , pls feel free contact : Whatsapp +8618761195338, good quality and price!
@@markymark6928 Years ago I learned how to operate just me and my dad. I do just fine and didn't need to read a manual or an experienced operator
😂😂😂
😆
😂😂😂😂
Thank you for the video, it is very helpful. I planned on renting a mini excavator from Home Depot and I was worried that it might be difficult to use. This video helped me to better understand how these machine operates. Thanks again. :)
Thank you for this video. I plan to rent a 7500 excavator from Sunbelt Rental for the removal of 2 x 2 stumps. I have 15 stumps to remove due to land clearing. This will be my first time using an excavator.
The rental company could offer a 1 hour training for those who need it at a cost when they deliver the Excavator. If so, more people will rent them and/or buy them.
That information was very informative, and I plan on renting one of those to use at home and glad that I viewed the video.
that’s what i’m about to do as well. how did it work out for you? was it difficult? thx
By the time you get the hang of it ,it will be time to return 😂😂
i WAS THINKING THE SAME THING. i'LL NEED TO RENT IT FOR A WEEK. 6 DAYS TO SCREW AROUND. 1 DAY TO WORK IT.
I find it hard to believe it was the first time he ever ran a mini but great instruction
So cool! I want to drive this thing someday
keep up the good work guys!
Thanks for the video. Very cool!
At the end of the video it looks like Steve has definitely used a mini ex before he’s pretty fluent 😂
That's what I thought!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wonder this baby costs for a weekend? Probably a cool grand. But hey - if you are very efficient with one of these, you can more than double your money back. Especially, if digging a ditch for a plumber, clearing out a filthy pond, or preparing a driveway.
"Picked the right equipment for the job" - Yeah right. How about a dang shovel and pick.
Eli Jackson 😂 good1
No shit. Lol
For real that's about 30 minutes of digging....
You dumbass.
ya...how fun is a pick and shovel
Some fine actor's there
1 thing yall didn’t talk about was how to use the thumb!
Which Kubota mini excavator is that?
2:27 When you move them forward and let go will they automatically swing back or stay forward?
Pleasant Grove the levers swing back
Nice video i have one custions for cobota kx 121-2 ,where can i order a spar parts for cubota kx 121-2 beast regards from zeka -kosovo
At the start he didn’t ask a question 😂😂😂
Where the hell are the damn thumb controls
Very good instructional video. Could do without the “music”.
Totally
My husband needs one
This kind of training could be done by the rental places for a fee. I would pay someone for his one hour of time to help me get started like you did in this Video. It would permote the use and sale of these machines. More people would buy them if they knew how to use them. Thanks
I work for a rental company, almost none of our customers are homeowners. They're all contractors that know how to use the equipment. Also we'd have to charge you like $300 for the lesson to be worth the time to be there.
I bought one, i don' know how to use it, but it can still out dig me 100 to 1
What's scary is HD and Lowe's will rent to any Bill Bob Blow with minimal requirements.
I'm a head cashier at Lowe's and as long as you put a deposit down there's no legal laws that require a "heavy equipment license" to operate.
We rent skod steers, mini excavator etc
Just enough education perfect!
And the rest is up to you 👌
Ok now smash your mailbox and try to kill me with the bucket and thumb. Next dig a hole for my corpse. And return machine like nothing happened.
What a comment
That was awkward, the acting in this video was woodier then a second hand pine furniture shop 😕
What's that black thing around his waist, been driving machines over 45 yrs. never worn one of them..
Nigel Church I have to admit that I’ve never wear those black things also when I rolled my excavator
wooow dude! arent you just sooo cool! 😎
Dial before you dig first thing
How about a function to release and exchange buckets?
On a mini? Do it by hand
Also "Call B4 You Dig "' you really dont just start and maybe rip a gas line: Can be a very serious predicament to be in*
Never order the mini excavator 1 ton. I had to dig a 12"x21" foundation at 2 feet wide and 42 inches deep, it took 13 hours. I started at 9 am and did not finish until 11 pm. Plus there is a $200 fee if the machine is not clean. Its not the kinda machine you can just wiped down, I had to wash all the caked harden mud, that took about 30 minutes. So, the next time, I will over an excavator that has a shovel that is 2 1/2 feet. Even the delivery guy told me that the 1 ton was good for my project. He lied. So, anyway, what you see must be the excavator 3 ton plus.
Last guy that delivered to me called me an idiot and put the machine back on the trailer. 😒
Four hour rental, five hours to figure it out, not a single hole dug.
Love cotrols
Same like tank operation. I operete Bob Cat. Same operate
The teacher knows how to run it I’m sure but not like a pro.
very nice
New Toy. Yes
I’m sorry but your acting just isn’t drawing me in.
wow, thats a very toxic thing to say you should be ashamed of yourself. you are a disgrace to your family.
Max Pesacreta my dad could beat up your dad.
Love Bob Cats
cheeeesey start
Hi

He didn't wait for the glow plugs to heat up before staring the engine, which is a crime where I work !
Well, one can deduce that the engine was already warm from the off-loading; therefore, the plugs aren''t needed for his subsequent start.
superfinster how do you wait for the glow plugs to heat up? same as diesel engine in a car ?
superfinster Mayby it is just a newer machine and glowing isn't needed anymore
ciaranac yes
Modern diesel vehicles are virtually instant.
I will put all this Detroit in ground. Make nice and clean
クボタも良いけどヤンマーも良いぞ
Safety first
Skilled people should only rent a (mini-) excavator!!!
I'm 12 and I know all the controls of by heart and I've known how to drive for about 3 years even more
Sweeney boy same here
Same here
Lol y’all want a cookie or a muffin
JMACK lol
@@Braden-York i am raised in a city and i know how to operate them. it isn't that hard.
Not helpful dosnt show how use thumb
Yep bring down the blade. Now move the excavator forward and ruin the street🤣🤣🤣🤣
Steve's wife's boyfriend establishes a dominance hierarchy then heads inside to service the account.
Wow it fine
JU ST STAR TS BL OWING HIM LIKE ITS AIR TO LIVE
Ryan
Wait, when does the sex start?
hope you can help me sir we dont have a business like this here in the philippines.. i want to have a business like this..im sure its going to work out in here.. coz very body wants to learn this machine...but i'm just a tricycle driver no money for the financing matter...
Holy shit fucking baby steps...let's go people
It's obvious but you will NEVER have an employee go with you on the job site.. run through should be like a driving test and if you fuck up too many times you should be 86ed from renting said equipment.
Lol seat belts in an excavator or any machine does anyone actually use them
yes
I watched a guy go through the windshield of an excavator...I put the seat belt on!!!
we had an old case backhoe in the yard that needed brakes, Mechanic came in over the holiday weekend and did the brakes. monday morning i went to go load the the dump truck with sand, big mistake! I jammed on the brakes like we normally did and smashed into the windshield lol
Only machine I've seen someone use a seatbelt on is a roller, and that was me, those mother fuckers are dangerous
No
What are the odds to be the first one to rent a new machine? Pretty slim no doubt. Plus, no need for this equipment since it’s such a small job... Millennials!
How n why am i here😭
This is useless. You can sit there and figure out the joysticks in two minutes. The difficult thing is using the blade and keeping the damn thing from tipping over.
is it a good idea to leave a machine like this to someone who has no training & has never operated any machine like this?? I can envision this f&cker digging up power lines, gas lines and destroying his whole house foundation within an hour!.
"i hope i have chosen the right machine for the job". "i just want to extend this wall out into the yard" Seriously could of done the work he did with a shovel in 5 mins.
I’m 15 and all this safety crap and slow one movment working on the machine is hard to watch start using all the controls at once makes life easier and the job go quicker
عامل كام دة لو حدة ليقرأ عربى يرد عليا
I’m twelve and running an excavator for my dad this is a waste of time
Who’s here from APS?
Meh. I doubt they could have put less effort into this. There are a million tips for newbies that they just ignored. But at least HD saved $ on the video.
ccccchhhhheeeeeeezzzzzzyyyyyyy as fuck.
This is bullshit I could have the job done by the time he's going
lol
No, you are bullshit. This guy just learned how to drive an excavator. Maybe you don't like other people learning what you get paid for. You are jelly.
I understand that you are mad at this guy I could get it done very fast to but just don t get that pissed off
Good for you. If a user has an accident because there was no instructions or warnings then you can be a defence witness for the hire company.
ya well not everyone is experienced on these things.. people have to start somewhere
Never rent one just hire an owner operated you will be so far ahead at the end of the day trust me I have 24000 hours on mini excavators
Unless you just want to learn, and enjoy the project........ I've only got about 1200 hours between my last two excavators, and I still enjoy the seat time.
The very moment I learned I could just hire one of these without a licence or operators ticket, I booked one for a weekend. Lets face it, they are a piece of cake to drive and a fun toy at that. I'd not hire an operator unless I needed something bigger than I could rent or to do something very challenging with steep grades.
Haha haha
no way, I can rent one for 300 dollars for the day to do the same job I got quoted on for 1400 bucks
You would be right except you people want to charge 4 or 5 times what people make per hour and remember ME as a homeowner pay with after tax dollars
I JUST rented a 35 and put in my rural waterline myself just because I don't want to hear the high estimate that the guy would give me cause its winter around the holidays and he is just so busy cause you can't hardly get anybody so I'll have to charge you an OBSCENE amount but that's just my price nowadays
weak.................... use some hand tools
