- FT Flying Session 9 - Guest Maiden - this discontinued ROC HOBBY / FMS BEECHCRAFT STAGGERWING - belongs to Lewis - who asked Ben if he would Maiden it - took three maiden flight to get this Staggerwing under control... Good Job BEN (I think).....
Ben did extremely well to keep that bird in the sky and land without any damage……superb! Great stuff. Hope this plane is all set up nicely now 😊👍🏻
Yes indeed Ben is a very good pilot - he has both A and B BMFA certificates and is a registered club Instructor, I often offer up some of my aircraft for him to maiden but for some strange reason he never accepts ..LOL... he knows how I build and Assemble them ..... Cheers Martyn
What a staggering achievement getting the Staggerwing under control! 😯 Ben's a good pilot!
I saw what you did then Gina, - Nice, ..Is he, but IS HE... 🤣🤣🤣
@@FlankerTanker 😁 If he changed his trousers, then questions need to be asked 🤔😆💩

Great landing for the issues in the air , great job keeping it together
Hi Ironmover - I wish I could handle emergency's in the air as controlled as Ben does..LOL.. Cheers Martyn
Ben did well keeping her in the air while trying to trim her out, very well flown and great landings unde that pressure...jeff.
Hi Jeff - thanks , Ben is one cool cookie, I have never seen him get flustered, Unlike me... Cheers Martyn
Nice job guy's 👏
Travis - we got it sorted in the end, LOL - thanks to Ben its will fly again.. Cheers Martyn
Top man, can I put in a request to see a full smash low pass on that farm hand pleases?
Appreciate you guys
I really would like to have one of these. Glad it's still ready for the next flight, nice piloting.
So, ahhh when will we see a bit more of yours, Martyn?? I hope that your model is easier to get flying correctly. So, was it tail heavy or nose heavy? wouldn't moving or using a larger battery fix it? I think so... 😁
AirHammer out!!
Hi Airhammer - I do not mean to tease, but I have a white and blue one i(as you know) still in the box , having watched this one get all sorted out and flown, upon reflection, and doing some deep sole searching, I am getting to the point where I don't want mine - its an 1100 and too small for my new (ever growing fleet) - so I WILL BE SELLING IT, but shipping costs will prevent me selling it outside of the UK..... It was not tail heavy nor nose heavy - it was all to do with surface movements/ rates, Trim..... all sorted now and has flown a few more times without incident... Martyn OUT!
