- With COVID-19 forcing the hand of many to embrace new ways and more digital/hybrid ways of working, it was only a matter of time before Universities reevaluated their historical framework and operations against the mass of potential that the new digital era has to offer.
Traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ are no longer viable options due to space, location, and availability restrictions. The scope to expand digitally however not only removes that roadblock but opens up a University to attract more top talent from around the world. The introduction of a more digitally focussed approach now enables students to access higher education like never before. Sanjeev and Adrian talk about the opportunities that this new digital age presents as well as discuss what the future may look like for Universities and higher education institutions, as a result of becoming more digitalised.

Innovative teaching is the name of the game. Gone are the days of large room lectures. Tutorials can be done online.
Western education, classroom teaching model, has failed accumulating students in the guise of education but actually breaking family structure in India, charging huge fees in dollars for higher because students never got good jobs with Indian degrees is very well tackled by Prof Sanyal. Good job keep up the good work

Nothing can replace the dialog, the Q&A in person with a teacher for a student. The other kind of learning may be useful to pass the exam but will not help in understanding and retaining the concept and its applicability.
Cheaper alternative education while earning will replace anything
No if the teacher is there to talk doubts and talking to the students online , then i see no need to be in brick and mortar face to face manner of education , This can be tried from the class 11 and above , so the kids do not have to uneccessary travel and rather spend time with more practical stuff ,
A "We Work" type options for digital learning might be helpful. Will allow students to step out from their homes & socialise as well
Forward looking ideas of education system what Sanjay Sanyal has spoken. We should look forward critically than wasting time on old system. One question may arise will there be job squizing ?
