9mm revolvers are not a good choice of handgun.!! Period !
Because the cartridge is tapered I’ve personally seen them get pushed inside themselves and what you get is loose powder and bullets falling out of the cylinder while firing.. the problem is the front of the rounds are exposed to the percussion of the rounds going off and thus causing them to be exposed to the pressures that are present between the forcing cone and the cylinder… this is a serious issue that is not present in semi auto handguns!!
As far as I’m concerned a 9mm revolver is not something you can depend on to save your life!! They are paperweights is my experience…. Think about what I am saying seriously before you use a 9mm revolver as a protection tool!!

because the .38 is so wussy-loaded in the USA, due to law suit risks over blowing up old pos revolvers, the 9mm offers more power. Particularly so in 2" barreled guns. The Liberty Arms 50gr ,solid copper hp is 2000 fps, 450 ft lbs in 9mm, but just 1500 fps and 280 ft lbs in a .38 snub. I think you're foolish to have the bulge and ammo-limitation of a revolver, cause front pants pocket draws (hand in pocket) are SO much faster and more reliable than any other ccw draw. Get a Kahr CM9, have much less of a bulge and have 40% more ammo.
