Susan, I just ordered this Color Meditation Deck…and I could use some set-aside time for color “meditating” and prayer too. I’m working on learning pastel painting right now, but watercolor is my “first painting love,” for now at least. It’s pretty much a no fuss, no muss medium and the gorgeous transparent colors and ease of use (the opacity of gouache has its charms too 😊) make them pretty irresistible to me. Thanks!

Art is definitely Therapy. I started doing art during the loss of my mother and it really heal me. I will be studying art therapy in the fall and move into that career area. Meanwhile I do art almost daily..so this is a great video for everyone to explore! Thanks Susan.
Yes, I totally agree. I lost my mom 2 years ago and this type of peaceful painting really helps with the loss and grief. God bless you sweetheart and I pray you continue to find healing. :)

Yes I can… for this lesson I used analogous colors and it really is neat using the color meditation deck that I spoke about at the beginning. It often will give you prompts for color choices. Sometimes I just wing it though.
The music is from a copyright free site called Audio Hero. I can’t remember the name but you could find something similar by searching for Indian flute music👍🏻☺️
This is my kind of color scheme, love the indigo, turquoise and gold with touches of warm violet!

This is really good relaxation like all artwork. I don't have acrilic inks but I sometimes play with watercolour and doodles
