- It was another market day for us today. The location of this market is cool because it's in what used to be a bus station. There are old buses around and it's an inside market, so it's a win-win situation! A bit of a shorter vlog today but I'm at the standard "halfway through vlogmas" slump. I'll pick it back up again!

I'm British and live in the US (Chicago, to be specific) and I love watching your vlogmas because it reminds me of home. Americans are good at many things, like breakfast and sports, but they are not good at Christmas. Or tea (shudder). It's nice to vicariously experience everything I miss, so thank you for all your effort.
Love that both you and Mario have jobs that allow you to support each other. And both of you get to be creative and help make other people feel happy and cozy. I'm kinda jealous of that setup

This week isn’t so great for me, tomorrow is 2 years since my beautiful mom passed away, then 19th would be her birthday. Grief is an ongoing battle. Crochet and knitting are my saviours, and videos from my favourite channels like yours. So please keep doing what you’re doing. Each night when I get in bed I pick an old one of your podcasts to watch, as my mind goes into over drive when I get into bed, so I find listening to you talk about your projects and random stuff keeps my mind off the bad stuff. So thank you! You are a huge help to me without even knowing. 💜💜 xxx
I am SOOOOO excited for the muppet's christmas carol advent! It is my all time favourite Christmas film and has been since I was little so this theme is just made for me! Can't wait to hear more about it!
Today was great! Mostly work but got a lot accomplished. Am still loving the Advent colors, I'm going to hang skeins 1-12 on my office wall tomorrow so I can admire the pretties and figure out what I'm going to do with them. A blanket for sure but which one... Anyhoo, thanks for another fun video, see you tomorrow!
I understand what you are saying. That’s one reason why I don’t vlog. Many times I wouldn’t like to be on camera. But I really enjoy your videos. I’m waiting until my advent is all open before deciding on a project. I’m going to hang them as garland once I finish my current project (4 colors to go) and hang them until I decide what to do. 😘💜💜💜
I really enjoyed knitting the Elfmail. It was my first sweater and I want to knit more in so many other color combinations! I knit a couple pairs of socks for my grandma but other than that I don't usually knit Christmas gifts.
I looooooove White Christmas! It's my absolute favourite Christmas movie and I have so many memories of watching it with my mom every Christmas Eve growing up ❤ I'm not a Dcotor Who fan, but my husband is so we watched the latest episode and it was very fun! I'm actually quite excited to see Ncuti Gatwa in this role because he was sensational so far!
Not much knitting time here. This week is all about the end of the school year here at the bottom of the world. My daughter is finishing at the school she's been at for over 10 years and our family has been involved. Next year is senior college. We have had prize giving and then tonight is a celebration of the year group which I have been helping to organise.
Short or long videos don't matter. They will be interesting regardless. Was nice to take a peek in your day. I can relate to your experiences of participating in chat conversations that suddenly go silent after typing something. Don't put on too much so it becomes overwhelming. Something I have taken to heart is if you have five things you want/need to do, choose 1-2. Let go of the rest. Otherwise, the amount of to do will be to many to handle.
Only knitting a hat for someone else, but should finish my first wool blanket for myself by Christmas! Last winter I realized I didn't have a warm knit scarf set or blanket for myself, I always give them away. Fixing that this year. Lots of love from the Pacific Northwest 🧡

Hi Hannah. Great you still did a daily vlog for us even though you had such a busy day helping your husband at the markets. I am not a fan of Dungeons and Dragons but my son started playing when he was in late primary school and still continues with the game with the same friends now in their late 20s. Your colour names for your beautiful yarns seem to match the colours which is very clever. Thinking of doing colours for your yarns next year of The Muppets Christmas is a good idea. Take care and I hope you slept well and got alot of your yarn twisted.

Really enjoyed Dr Who made me think about my best friend who passed away in 2019 she was a massive fan and she would have loved everything that happened, she would have loved Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker (the character reminded me of Q from Star Trek another show she loved). She lived in Nottingham so I think about her when I watch your videos (which is a good thing). I’m waiting for some special yarn to arrive to make my mum a scarf. Loving the videos.
Daily check in: long covid is still covid-ing, but I'm not feeling dreadful today and I'm hoping to get a few things done. I don't have an advent but I think I might stop by my local spinners and weavers guild to see about picking up some more dye so I can dye myself some sock yarn in a colourway I've been thinking about.
I love your Christmas jumper today! The burning colourway is sooo good, might be my favorite so far (though the competition is stiff). dnd spell names can be confusing, I know there is one that sounds like a touch spell (chill touch? shocking grasp? burning hands?) but is actually a ranged attack. Also make the videos however long or short you need to, we will still enjoy them, and it will be a much nicer time for both us and you if you don't burn yourself out. Take care xx

LOL Hannah I call myself the Thread Killer 😅😅 so really can relate. I'm trying to be more active in your wonderful discord group but its a bit irratic as I run in, comment, get scared, run out 😅 I find social media so difficult to navigate. Hi Hannah, I just watched AltKnots and a yarn that she has was mini skein set that they twisted together to look like one large hank. Clever and cute, though not sure if that is actually more work

I had just started my advent project after finally finishing all my gift knits when my brother phoned and asked me to knit a pair of socks for my nephew, shoe size 11. Watching all Mario’s lovely baked goods has made me feel better.
I could NOT be married to a baker with his own business. I would weigh 400 pounds LOL. I would have to hope that after you've eaten so much of it you would get tired of it (not likely, lol) I'm behind on everything...watching, holiday knitting, sewing, etc. Let us know if the cinnamon is a bit much in that tea unless you did already in one of the following vids that I'm playing catch up on LOL. I couldn't reply this time of year either.
Daily check in: still very sick. Missed 4 days of work. Only good news I got was I don’t have pneumonia just severe asthmatic bronchitis
