👍Jenko X-13 has the best Hook Setting feel that I've had from any Rod. You are so correct about that. The X-10 almost feels like it doesn't belong in the X-Series when it come feel as it so Night & Day from the X-13 & X-15. I had to comment on this video because you can have LiveScope but zero Boat Control & you will "NAWT be catching repetitive State Crappie Limits. You are hands down correct in regards to your title. Refreshing video that is needed as well. Good content, good footage, good editing, good relevant Title. I'm 1 of those 59 Thumbs 👍Up & Subscribed to support your channel. 🙃
Good day Out there, just found your channel,, South Mississippi i Fish The Pascagoula River Basin , Smaller shallow Water oxbows in the Swamp,All River Fed and affected by the River stages for the most part, Guaranteed boat control is Critical for success , we've had some challenging days in the last Few weeks to Fish , Some good looking hair jigs , Solid Black has always been One of the #1 hair jigs for me here ,, keep putting em in the boat 🐟🐡🎣🤠🇺🇸
Thanks for watching Donnie! Those river systems can be tricky for sure. I grew up fishing the Ouachita River / Felsenthal Refuge for bass mainly. I love it all! Livescope has definitely been a game changer and I enjoy learning more each time I go! Good luck and tight lines!
First time watching your channel. Very good content. I use a jenko rod also but it’s a different model. Where did you get the small reel your using? Look forward to more videos. I’m on Grandlake Oklahoma.
Gary, thanks for watching! Those reels, I got from Sportsman’s one stop in El Dorado, AR. They are eagle claw ice fishing reels. They work perfectly for Livescoping! I’ve heard of Grand Lake. In fact, some of my bass fishing buddies will be there later this year fishing the BASS Nation Championship (Nov 6)
Nice video! What mount do you use to mount your transducer to the trolling motor? I have a non spot lock trolling motor also, so I’m looking to do so,etching similar to your setup.
Thanks for watching Kevin! I use a summit mount, and I’ve had good luck with it. You can order them on-line at “summit fishing” you can check out an earlier video where I talk about my specific set-up! Good luck out there!🎣 ruclips.net/video/SLAdVPEjcig/видео.htmlsi=TSn6DnnX8eYolAX6
Hey Brett, Thanks for watching! Most non-crappie species are moving more it seems to me. Crappie are usually staged and still or floating around slowly. I can usually tell the shape of a “longer”catfish, or a group of bullet shaped white bass or some largemouth passing through due to the longer shape. Skinny long gar are easy to identify. Time on the water and catching these different species from time to time helps you learn their traits. For the most part, crappie are “lazy and more round shaped”. Their attitude can range from aggressive to shy and can change within an hour!

Do you have any advice on how to differentiate between how crappie appear on the live scope compared to other fish?

Boat control is a piece of cake fishing laydowns! not so easy fishing thick standing timber.
