- I see guitar covers get views, so I figured I would join in. Anything for the views! Like the end of the video says, I was nervous and felt that I had to get everything perfect. I would like to think I usually play better when not being filmed. Also, I obviously don’t own the song, Nirvana and their label does.

Not bad, some things i noticed ; keep the fingers in your picking hand closed, itll help make it more relaxed. Also, you're missing the iconic muted strums in the main riff. Listen to the original and try to mimic that.

Nice, dude!! What I recommend is playing guitar in front of people often so that way you get comfortable (and less shaky) Don't worry because I still get nervous too when I play in front of a crowd. Try not to be so stiff; just be loose and flow with the music. Your playing sounds so good. Keep it up, man!

I don’t understand what you mean. I do play that. I play 5 6 during the verse, and I also play 5 5 6 during the pre-chorus, which is what I’m assuming you are calling the verse. I think it’s pretty noticeable that I do that.

Solo sounds a bit flat. I recommend Marty musics tutorial in it its easy and sounds good.
I know Marty’s way to play the solo as well. I can’t explain why, but I think it sound noticeably different because it’s played on different strings and frets. My solo did sound a bit flat, but I think that’s because I didn’t put enough effort into the bends and I didn’t have enough distortion

I assume you are talking about my pick when you say mediator. I will agree that I hold my pick weird, and I will say that I haven’t found my own way to hold a pick, but I’ve gotten used to using an open hand. When I started playing, I used to hold picks with a closed hand, but I switched to an open hand because my uncle(who is very experienced) holds a pick with an open hand. Lots of results say different thing about each grip and sometimes say they are both okay. So I don’t know

keep practicing and btw after you hit the first powerchord and the 3rd one theres a ghost note and also on the part where he says Hey! theres a bend. Work on your timing too!
Yeah, I know about the bend during the bridge, but at that time, I had a bit of difficulty getting it. I got the bend a few times in the video, but I think I’m a bit better now. As for the powerchords, I don’t actually know what a ghost note is….

You'll get better playing when filming. I used to so nervous too. Goes away over time. Especially when you just say screw it, I'm just jamming, it's just rock n roll. It can be sloppy, mistakes, just rock out no matter what. I put up many covers where I make up my stuff, botch the solo, or make up my own solo, or make mistakes. I just roll with it and consider it a one take jam along.

have u ever tried resting your palm rights behind the strings so u don't have to be so tense in your picking hand? Song sounded great just it might me more comfortable that way
