A couple of things to address again since I'm getting a few comments on it - Pricing is innaccurate for dragon sets because of the leaked end armour update that was released to alpha. Prior to the alpha release, Unstable was at 1.5M, Strong at 2.5M and Superior at 22M. Superior is hovering at around 35M coins now which definitely changes things, but we won't know if this is the final price for certain until after this update is released. This isn't too big of a deal considering this is just supposed to be a comparison video and not a progression guide. I will have actual armour progression guides out once the end update does come out, and hopefully at a point where all armour costs are consistent and not being affected by other things. - I didn't dungeonise unstable/strong for a reason... Adaptive is a cata 5 req, Unstable is cata 10 and Strong is cata 12. People are forgetting that the reason I used Unstable or Strong in the first place is to get you STARTED (cata 0), not as a mid-tier armour set. It doesn't mean they're not bad options, I just didn't want to make this video too long by testing undungeonised AND dungeonised versions
im playing with golden head, adaptive chetplate nd the other arts are shadow assassing. i found that i had better stats in gen with the bes boost/in normal gameplay
Ironically f6 until like quite high master mode is the only time you need tank gear. That sweet spot where the floors hurt but the tanks aren't high cata enough to just use necrons
As someone else already commented, F6 is a bit of an exception. F1-5 and F7-M3 doesn't really need the tank to be using tank gear, it's literally just the terracottas and golems and then M4 boss fight and beyond
early game, if your watching this thinking 'wow, I'm gona breeze through f1', know that he has a high level profile and u probably wont be getting any ware near the same EHP or damage as him, just keep that in mind, pls do correct me if I'm wrong
there's no point in including the price of upgrades to the armor because we're just comparing the armor sets themselves and he's providing just the clean price. the price of hpb is the same no matter what set you put it on, so why include it?
@@izayiahtrade idk whether his prices actually match but chances are they are off because the prices fluctuated after he wrote them down. in terms of hp scaling in dungeons i guess that's sorta fair but i dont think the difference is rlly that big and it's probably simpler without it. i see what u mean tho.
In the endgame you aren’t going for cheap you’re going for what’s the best and the sheer damage from necron + edrag/gdrag is just too good to pass up and is pretty much required for master mode
friends, I have a question, I have a full set of SA, what should I use next in the ordinary world and crimson isle, because I do not go to the dungeon, and what i should use if i go dungeons next necron?
@@baklash3359 Don't forget that you can upgrade any kuudra armor several times. Basic -> Hot -> Burning -> Fiery -> Infernal. Starting at Burning, it's already better than Necron
Skeleton master armor is also surprisingly good. I used bottom half skeleton master, perfect floor 5 zombie knight chestplate, and tarantula helmet and completed that floor with ease
I used Skeleton master many years ago for my initial F5 completions when Superior had a catacombs 30 requirement. It'd definitely good stuff, but I'm not sure how good compared to what I tested in this video. My biggest issues with the set was the lack of EHP, but if you don't mind glass-cannoning it can be quite solid
Imo i think that superior should be before 3/4 sa because it is way cheaper and bc superior is VERY good for survivability, it is easier to progress into. The damage and survivability can be buffed if you get higher cata lvls, so you can progress into sa dealing more dmg and still being able to survive in later dungeon floors.
Testing Necron and SA (The last ones) in bers would've been a great part too but i think they will just Outclass other armors easily. And i don think considering Necron Head as the bad thing for SA and Necron is fair since other G heads exist and they are just as good in there floors. Also you said you would pick Superior bcz its really good outside dung but you also said you would pick FB which doesnt make sense since FB is not that great for outside dung content.
Yeah I definitely could've just done bers the whole way, but I still think that the archer testing is useful since that's the dmg people are actually going to be dealing at that stage. Considering GHeads is fine, but it is important to note that F7 SPECIFICALLY is very expensive, and because F7 is a very high demand floor, people need to be cautious of that. In any other context you're not going to be spending much on a Golden Head so it's not as big of a deal for other floors. I'd pick both Superior and FB, and then upgrade into Necron once I get an EDrag. I'd use Superior specifically for mytho ritual (the pet luck and magic find is nice for this), and I'd use Frozen Blaze everywhere else that I can. Then when I fork out an extra 300M coins or so, I'd sell my sets + pet, buy an epic EDrag and get a necron's set. Then I'd level the EDrag, get it to 100, give it to Kat for true legendary, put a shelmet on it and now I'd be running a more versatile setup for the mid-late game. How you progress just comes down to how you want to progress and what works for you. There's nothing wrong with skipping superior, FB or both, because ultimately all the mid and late game sets are good options anyways. I was just sharing my personal thoughts at the end using the facts I gathered at the start of the video
People are starting to use skeleton master chestplate with necron as well because it lets you not have to refill quiver and deal 5% more dmg with arrows
the 5% damage bonus (multiplicitive) is good but not the reason people use it. Its still ever so slightly worse than a necron chestplate. Its used for the no arrow usage to avoid downtime
Unfortunately as much as I like this video it gets one fact wrong. Superior Dragon Armor costs 40 million for the full set off of the auction house and 38 mil to craft.
@ModernSoldier ah ok, sorry I didn't notice that. But do you agree that superior is no longer worth it with the new prices and primal dragon armor coming soon?

How many creative minds do you have again? Its ridiculous that you think your opinion holds any ground against mine with an idea that the admins took and used all the time. I am an endgame player - if i sold ALL my skyblock cakes, ALL my pet collection (which is worth a lot even with candied pets) I can easily afford a tier boosted ender dragon and a giant's sword, which effectively makes me a lot farther along than most other end game players. I think think the admins should just let me become a developer and give me another creative mind because that was also my idea and I should be reimbursed properly. If you guys think you're so good and better than me, try and get one yourself. Can you? I don't think so. The best you can do is just skillfully aoe one shot all the enemies you come across with your expensive gear. It shouldn't even be that expensive - look at recombs. Recombs should be less than 5 million coins even though they are 5 million coins to get from the chest. It sounds unreasonable but if your tiny pea dungeon player brains can even think properly, the mayor Paul reduces prices of dungeon loot by 20% so recombs shouldn't cost 5 million. If an item is too expensive for me to obtain, then its not fair to me as a content creator because it is now more difficult for me to gain and make 'content' out of it. However, once I get it due to inevitable price deflation its 'no longer worth it' and barely adds any content because I took too long to get the item myself and show it off. This is why Skyblock is dying - content creators like myself can't show off cool and new items because nothing is made in my own favor. Tara helm is better, but it's also got a spider slayer 4 requirement which can be a bit daunting for a 'very early game' player. FB is actually fantastic for late game. It’s only endgame where you need GDrag when it’s outclassed. In comparison to Necron Edrag, I believe a year ago it was straight up better having higher damage and EHP at Cata 40+. Although with recent updates it might not be 100% true anymore but the damage should still be very similar to Necron Edrag while still having more EHP. It’s a great option before Necron Gdrag and it’s much cheaper since Frozen Blaze loses value putting master stars on them so you can get like 9 started FB for much cheaper.
its worse than necron because you dont have dmg reduction against withers and you need edrag for m7 anyways as a dps class, a good fb set is better for non-m7 than similar necron+edrag, you need gdrag for necron to be better on average
@@jetnyan2348 ok that makes sense my mate got my profile wiped like a year ago so it’s nice to know the meta… as I’m currently flipping I’ll just go mage for now anyways but I really like M4 so FB in M4 might just be pretty optimal for money…
On top of that none of the armor and weapons are fuming hot potato booked so blaze pet would have the actual true different with health, defense, dmg, strength
If you have the money, skills and time for an F7 comp, you absolutely should not be skimping out on your armor. I wouldn't recommend this solely because it's "stupid", and at that point, you might as well just stick to superior since it's similar in power...
I use this in MM7 it does a lot more damage than necron but it has very little defense so if you can’t survive get it if you can and you want the extra damage I would get it but you need 50% stat boost from floor 10 it says this on the armor
The irony is that I farmed the frozen blaze armor and blaze pet because I didn't have the funds to buy either. Hardest was leveling my blaze minions to max.
I am still using my unstable dragon armor at floor 6, I came here to find what upgrade I should do and learnt that I should have upgraded at least 3 floors ago 😂

I Stg Catacomb levels are so stupid and ruin the god damn game bro sorry but not everyone wants to sit in fuckin dungeons for 8 hours a day just to get a certain catacombs level
It really hurts the sets, as in my experience strong dragon, potentially even unstable dragon, is better than adaptive armor when dungeonized, and with the lowered cata requirements, it means that you would be able to dungeonize them before getting the full adaptive set.
@@thescoffe I mentioned why I didn't dungeonise these sets at 5:15 To build on what you're saying, yes, dungeonised unstable and strong are good options (better than adaptive even), but they aren't able to be purchased before then at all. Adaptive comes into play after catacombs 5, unstable/strong come into play at catacombs 10-12. At this rate I would just wait until you're cata 14 to get either superior or the 3/4 mixed shadow assassin set, since those will be better options and will act as longer lasting upgrades until the late game sets. @@jetnyan2348 ok that makes sense my mate got my profile wiped like a year ago so it’s nice to know the meta… as I’m currently flipping I’ll just go mage for now anyways but I really like M4 so FB in M4 might just be pretty optimal for money…
Dubgenized strong armor is better than adapted
noice
I miss the old days.
finally armour guide❤
go from young to sa and sa to necron simple
everything you said is early game
Necron has any requirements??
Noice.
No matter what happen, admins make Adaptive super op/buff it, wear Adaptive armor for 1b coins for 1 min.
I will never AND EVER wear adaptive armor
Bro ur literally using wither skeleton for fairness you could have used a skeleton pet and you would deal the most dmg with necron
On top of that none of the armor and weapons are fuming hot potato booked so blaze pet would have the actual true different with health, defense, dmg, strength
What about mixed necron? (2/4 necron, skeleton master chestplate, golden/diamond head)
@@Airhalo3 Do you think it would be better than necron as cata 36 gettng into mm3 or should I stick to necron? (skycrypt:skyblockmlg44)
@@Airhalo3 Do you think I should be using it instead of Necron getting into MM3 at cata 36? (skycrypt:Skyblockmlg44 for refference)
@@Airhalo3 Do you think I should use it instead of Necron getting into MM3 at cata 36? (skycrypt:Skyblockmlg44 for refference)
Love this
i need lvl 5 for juju, a good armor for enderman boss? it was hard for me with shadow assassin armor to kill boss lvl 1
really well made video but its simply not that useful for most players because its all widely known for the most part
The irony is that I farmed the frozen blaze armor and blaze pet because I didn't have the funds to buy either. Hardest was leveling my blaze minions to max.
I would say to skip the head for full shadow assassin as the bonus is broken 1 strength for every kill
I am still using my unstable dragon armor at floor 6, I came here to find what upgrade I should do and learnt that I should have upgraded at least 3 floors ago 😂
when i used adaptive i got 2 shot by a skeletor in floor 3, then i got shadow assassin and now i can survive floor 5 finaly
Btw you didnt use pets with any armors except frozen blaze no shit it deals more damage
SHADOW ASSASSIN!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I think u are making shadow assassin just worst but superior is worse than shadow assassin easily
Cap
@@Ruehlen okey try which is best for Archer u can know easily

calling no fuming no gemstone trash enchanted necron/fb endgame in 2024 is wild

Please make a progression guide for armour for mages I really don't know what to get
pls do a (Mage guide) and every armour and every enchantments and weapons plssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
This is useful since I’m starting my dungeons grind. I appreciate you making this video friend
I remember you discussing this with me in the hub that one time 🔥🔥 (great video btw)
I realy Like youre Videos. You hitting The Points in The Head. I think youre Videos are The best Hypixel Skyblock Videos
11th sighs I WASNT FAST ENOUGH TIME TO GO FUTHER AND BEYOND
Lol no wise dragon this guy has 0 idea what he's talking about
Huh?
The weapon progression i used and is probably the best:
AOTE -> spirit shortbow -> livid deggar
-> Giant sword -> HYPERION (haven't gained yet but working on it)
The armor progression i used and is probably the best:
Hardened Diamond armor and Ender armor -> Unstable dragon -> Shadow assassin -> Necron with tarantula helmet
I got my necron armor and giant sword in 3 months, mightn't be the fastest but pretty good as my first profile
Dude ur not him buddy that is NOT the best progression
@@arlostew Ye i was just kinda weirded out by the spirit shortbow but its not a BAD progression. Its pretty good except the weapons department is really funky.
@@deezeez3867 My progression on the chaos profile was:
Armor: Nothing --> Unstable --> Superior --> Necron (I never bought necron bc I stopped playing on this account before I did)
Weapons: AOTD --> AOTD + Glove --> Juju Shortbow --> Giant's Sword --> Necron's Blade (I never bought the GS or the Blade because I stopped playing before then)
Ultimately, if it works, it works. Do what you want as long as you can afford it and it works
Thanks, Il take this into consideration, but another question. When does the giant sword become better than the shadow fury statwise. Do i Need a specific number of strength or what.
@@ModernSoldier
@@deezeez3867 I'm not sure about strength, but I know it's typically around 750MP and combat 40ish
Superior dragon set 5 stared is actually about 45m-52m
I Stg Catacomb levels are so stupid and ruin the god damn game bro sorry but not everyone wants to sit in fuckin dungeons for 8 hours a day just to get a certain catacombs level
modern soldier will do anything to show superior being better than sa
What was the golden helmet that was showcased with the adaptive set at the end?
Should I use superior or full sa then for general use and dungeons (until I can get golden Necron)
Can you make a video for armor progression like your weapon video like early game, mid game, late game, end game?
Thanks
This dude has to got S+ on every school presentation
inflation made superior like 40m now, so its not worth it
how to you have so much health with the adaptive i only get 1k
Skyblock levels, skill levels, magical power and cata level
hi, how are you
I might have missed it, but how come you havent dungeonized the unstable and strong drag sets?
It really hurts the sets, as in my experience strong dragon, potentially even unstable dragon, is better than adaptive armor when dungeonized, and with the lowered cata requirements, it means that you would be able to dungeonize them before getting the full adaptive set.
He mentions it at around 10:45
@@thescoffe I mentioned why I didn't dungeonise these sets at 5:15
To build on what you're saying, yes, dungeonised unstable and strong are good options (better than adaptive even), but they aren't able to be purchased before then at all.
Hopefully that clears up a bit of confusion. Dungeonised Strong/Unstable aren't bad options by any means, they're just too oddly specific that I don't think it's worth covering.
@@ModernSoldierIf Superior Dragon Armor is so viable, why have I not heard anyone besides you talking about them?
@@petermileo8279 That's the same question I've been wondering for years. I made a whole new profile and created an entire Skyblock series that further proves the idea that Superior is a great armour set too, yet people still don't think it's a viable option or good in any way. You're welcome to believe what you wish to believe, I've provided the facts & I've given my personal opinions, but if you don't agree with my opinions you can form your own off of the facts
As an ironman Frozen Blaze is far easier to get than Necron
bro glazes the worst armour sets in the game :skull:
I have combat 18, full fierce unstable armor set and a aotd , but i do 5k damage
Upgrade to strong, you'll do like 15-20k
@@yiq4585that is wrong. what they need to do is get their MP up, get good reforges, get bloody on their accessory bag. @RadiumOnYT I would suggest getting to at least 200 MP, you can buy a LOT of cheap accessories on AH, and there's a couple that you can earn
Thanks for making this. I've been struggling with with dungeons.
the texture pack for the skyblock doesn’t work
I have been waiting for this vid
Lmao you cant say tank is not a proper class in f6😂
It’s not just stand still tbh u don’t need to be good to tank f6 or ever need a tank set and if u use a tank set it would only need to be about 20-30m
What about full sa? How does that compare
"promo sm"
why this channel doesnt have 100m subs ??
Mage??
