The luckiest ive gotten in skyblock was getting the sa chestplate like 12 runs before my rng meter would be full

I saw the thumbnail, I thought for a second, thought "AINT NO WAY MANS DROPPED 2 ALLOYS BACK TO BACK!" watched the video, was both happy and sad. Happy cause I would've thrown my laptop across the room if he was that rng carried and sad that he didn't drop an alloy cause that would've been cool.

this is the funniest skyblock video ive seen and its all bc almost the entire video was filmed when tired lol
Divan alloy, unlike wiki says, is probably rolled as many times as other loot. Many people who have done a 1000 runs have got it, so it seems almost 10 times as likely as the 1/8000 chance (assuming if nobody else has got one in 2 hours but lord knows if that even works) if it was rolled only once. It still makes it the rarest item, but only barely rarer than a quick claw

@@foldedcastle3865 Your probability is the chance that 2 randomly selected nucleus runs (one at 1/8k chance and one at 1/800k) both dropped alloys, but that ignores the fact that there were several people doing nucleus runs for the whole hour, and each of the runs had a possibility of alloy. The chance is still absurdly tiny though.

something to add is that the 1/8000 in that calculation is the lowest possible. its "likely" that the odds of that happening were in reality around 1/10 billion or more
Correct me if I'm wrong, but after doing some calcs, the chance of dropping 2 alloys in a row (with best possible odds) is 1 out of 64 million, and 1 out of 640 billion chance with the worst possible odds.
If someone ever manages to pull that off, they shoulda just entered the lottery instead tbh
if those theoretical scenarios happened then yeah youre right on both calcs. what thirty saw is probably not that much more unlikely at quantum tunnelling at this point lmao, its ridiculous that it happened and is literally a once in a lifetime event in the best case scenario
@Mercenious the chance gets higher for every 1 hour an alloy isnt dropped on the server, starting at 1/800000 and making it 10x more likely every time, stopping at 1/8000. It resets every time an alloy is dropped on the server (this counts the entire network), so the chance of that happening is 1/6400000000 at minimum. It is possible that it was 10x or 100x more unlikely

it's not possible to drop 2 divan alloys back to back. Because the way alloy rng works is every 700 runs it spawns.
