It takes some boldness in speaking up and saying, "Here I am, send me!" and I love the short and direct message in from Isaiah in Isaiah 6:8. Once you have heard from God, you KNOW what you have heard and you feel the need to act on it! Thanks for joining me for this Bible verse of the day.
Isaiah 6:8 NLT
8 Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”
We are all imperfect. We all have spoken ill, we all feel unworthy at times, and we question should we be the one to spread the word? When we hear the call it’s sometimes hard to speak up. How might we be the messenger to be in service to God?
Any one of us, who are we to share the message? We may feel guilty, imperfect, or unworthy, we have all turned from God at times and that alone creates a further test of faith.
Every person has a call in their lives!
The true nature and effect when this washes over us; it gives us a freedom and boldness to speak up. When you hear the call, answer it, speak up AND say HERE I AM!
