I almost fell out of my chair when I heard "Wrench and Numbers" playing in the second part. What an incredible drum track! I remember when I first heard it in the opening of a Fargo Episode, sooo sick! Captain Pikant and The Intern proofing their good taste once again :D
Thanks! The track is actually "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" by Hall & Oates, but you are right because Simply Red borrowed it for their song 22 years later :)
I've recently started using the BX Focusrite channel strip which consists of Compressor and EQ. What I an struggling with is the fact that the more you reduce this compressor's threshold the heavier the compression becomes. This flies in the face of every single other compressor I have ever used, where the higher the threshold the more comp is applied. Do I have a faulty plug-in or this natural behaviour? thanks

If you don’t understand “compression” after this you never will!

Between Captain Pikant and Doctor Mix, Thomann have some damn fine educators on board!
Best compression tutorial what i ever watched. And i watched all of them. Simple, quick. Amazing.
This content (Captain Pikant) is absurdly good. Every single video.
Also, is she a hand model? I never thought about aesthetical hands before.

I'm in shock. I actually understand what compression does now oO
