Agree 100%, excellent comparison. My son has a CX-5, it is far nicer than my sister's CRV. I don't get why Mazda brought out the CX-50, it is inferior to the CX-5 (and it is fugly).
currently I have Cx5 2016 GT, I would consider this two cars but: I would definitely go for CX5 but: 1) I don’t like that buying 2024-2025 model, actually, I am buying 2017 model even ☝️ dash and climate control is from my 2016 GT MAZDA CX5 in some countries (versions). (in china version) This is the only reason what stops me form buying CX5 but still thinking and just considering CX50 as something new, new design as interior and as exterior but I am shore that Quality and price value for CX5 is way higher. So still thinking.
I'd go for the CX-5 with the J vin, i think the CX-50 is assembled in the US. There's gotta be some of that samurai DNA still present in that culture as they bring no dishonor to the company (Toyota, Honda and Mazda).
went with the cx5 turbo. do not regret my purchase at all
I love your wit, man! I hope your channel explodes cause you deserve it, your videos are awesome.
Thank you so much I really appreciate that!

Love my 2025 cx 5 turbo premium!
Glad to hear you're enjoying it!
We went with a CX-50. More room inside and love the look. Big seller was drive train. Tried and true six speed trans bullet proof engine.
It’s the same drive train in the CX 5

Final Assembly Point for CX-50 is Huntsville, Alabama.

Yup even though Tacomas are made there also, I want the J in the vin number.
This was extremely helpful. I'm considering these two cars but when you mentioned the head space in the Cx50, that immediately pushes me to the cx5.
This guy is biased. I hate biased reviews! No sub here
