My favorite is baked eggs! Muffin pan. Bacon grease the pan, first lay down a tiny dab of butter then a spoonful of grated sharp cheddar, Crack an egg on top, top with salt and pepper and parm cheese. Bake at 375°until the whites harden but the yolk is still soft! So good!!! You could even line the cups with partially cooked bacon then repeat the process!! Show me chef!!! These are a staple for my family!
That's my preferred way to cook eggs too. Been doing it for years. Whites are set, crispy around the edges, and a jammy but still runny yolk. Makes for the best egg sandwiches.
You can cook eggs for me anytime, those were perfect. The griddle is the premier place to cook eggs as well. I got a wild hair and tried steak seasoning on my eggs, I highly recommend it. I used California Tri Tip Seasoning from Cattlemen's Grill first and is my favorite but, any steak seasoning works and I have tried a few.
Perfect eggs, just the way I like them. I usually cook them on the stove top in a medium hot skillet with butter and olive oil. No crispy brown plastic edges (if you get that, your pan is way too hot) just a little brown on the first side. Flipped and cooked until the whites are done and the edges of the yolks are jammy and the center runny. Salt and pepper is all I use. I love hot sauce, it no longer loves me, so I usually pass on it. I don't usually toast my bread in the pan, going to try that.
I make eggs two ways: Poached (preferred, but sometimes I'm too lazy). Sunny side up, but I cover them with a mixing bowl and add a little water to finish them off with steam.
Thank you for not being a psychopath and blistering your eggs into plasticene oblivion like soo many other internet yahoos. Cooking a perfectly set, tender egg like this requires SKILL. Blasting an egg into 450 degree oil and blistering the edge until it resembles burnt plastic wrap is GARBAGE and requires no cooking ability whatsoever. So again, thanks Chef Tom for doing it right. You're the reason I bought my 640 from ATBBQ. I love my Yoder!
Damn, CT, I was hoping you were going to pick that puppy up and bite into it so we could see the yolk run down your perfectly groomed beard, lol. I cook mine on cast iron the same way, including the oil.... love it
More of these!
Love the runny yoke!
I love your videos but you immediately did what you said you weren’t gonna do and put the eggs right in your hot zone homie!
😂😂😂
Beat me to it (9 days ago, lol)
So simple but yet very difficult! Will try tomorrow.
It's definitely a very precise process, but you got it! 💪 How'd it go?

Cooking eggs is a delicate balance for sure! We're so glad that you love your Yoder Smokers, we use ours everyday! 🤩
I need one of those spatulas...
Search for fish spatula or fish turner. I have one and I don't think I have ever used it for fish.
The Weber Griddle Flexible Spatula is amazing!
