Why do Crumbl cookies have that much sugar anyways? Like, even regular cookies from a bakery would not have that much calories and sugar. You'd still feel satisfied from eating it nonetheless. I think FOMO's the reason why they're so popular if you ask me.
I think it's similar to trader Joe's where they constantly cycle through new flavors and get rid of old ones so influencers constantly have to review the new cookie and people like you said get FOMO once they cycle out the flavors
“JUST FOUND A LITERAL SCREW IN MY CRUMBL COOKIE” Made me think of those memes where people put random things in between their pieces of halloween candy “I luckily checked my Halloween candy, and I found a metal pipe hidden in my twix!!!! Check your Halloween candy, and stay safe everyone‼️‼️‼️‼️💥💥”
When I moved into my apartment, my realtor brought over a box of crumbl cookies for me and my roomate to celebrate having our own place with. It was a super sweet gesture and obviously we ate them but they were so big oml! We ended up splitting them all, where one of us got one half each and even that made me feel a lil nauseaus because they were soooo sweet.
You wanna know what’s the craziest thing about Crumbl? Last month on the 10th (Saturday), while I was with a friend and we were walking downtown along 7th Avenue in Manhattan, New York City and State, to get pizza, we stumbled upon and passed through a Crumbl and lingering out there is nothing but rather a long ass line (probably a 2-hour line lol) To be fair, blunt and honest with you there’s truly and literally little to nothing about Crumbl that I find to be worth the wait nor the hype but thank god I did not join the line just to witness that exact kind of horror. At one point I also kinda did want to consider working at Crumbl but nahh. Given the controversy around child labour and the fact that this issue is what I don’t support nor tolerate, now I know. Thank god I decided to pull back from that
I’m so glad you did a video exposing this omg! I live in Utah & the closest Crumbl is a mile away from me. I’ve only gotten them on a few occasions to share with my family. While they are often very gooey in the middle I have never seen them as underbaked as the ones you showed. We have also gotten them at work when we hit certain goals & they’ve also been okay. I typically only like the sugar cookies & chocolate chip ones too so that’s funny you mentioned that. I just prefer a really good basic cookie over a fancy cookie that’s trying too hard. I also don’t know how people are slamming 3 or 4 of them at a time. 🫣 I can only eat like half & it feels like I’ve ate a full meal because of the calorie content. Anyway it’s a sad reality that a lot of labor laws are broken in Utah. A lot of people don’t take their lunches or breaks or are not given any at all. Kids are allowed to work at 15, during the summer only, but a lot of employers exploit that too. Again thanks for exposing this because it’s crazy!
If you’re in NYC, you have to try Chip City or Levain Bakery because they have the best chocolate chip cookies. Chip City is actually similar to Crumbl but in my opinion so much better.

Crumbl seriously needs to work on having consistent mass production. Either sickly, rock hard, raw dough or cooked right like???

the worst part is a single donut from Krispy kreme and a donut from dunkin is half as many calories of a cookie from crumbl.. ive seen people eat boxes of this EVERY week..
I don't think there are crumbl cookies in my country (btw crumbl just reminds me of tumblr) but there is a cookie shop not far from my apartment where there is always a line going around the corner. Whenever I go to buy my S budget lidl chicken and rice, I marvel at those people's commitment to getting 1 cookie from that shop. I just refuse to care enough to stand in line for so long.
I went to there with my grandma before. It was last year in the fall. We got 2 pumpkin and sugar cookies. We noticed that they were not very good. Too much sugar. I was like how do the people loving to eat them all the time? So we decided to eat them never again. Ever. Not my favorite anymore. So we got better pillsbury pumpkin sugar/cookie chocolate chip period.

i agree with every point except the ingredient list one, if you actually read the the list, it has everything a normal cookie does. they however also need to write the ingredients of the ingredients they use. so let's remove all the stuff in the brackets and see the list- heavy cream, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, eggs, sugar, marshmallow topping, brownie mix, semi-sweet chocolate chips, cocoa, soybean oil, bittersweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, oreo pieces, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, salt, baking soda, cornstarch, water, canola oil, flavouring, marshmallow flavouring water, ethyl alcohol, propylene glycol and citric acid. the list is close to what you would actually have in your house with some extra ingredients for flavouring and stabilizing. Let alone the fact that that tiktok was so dumb, ppl cant do research tbh, thiamine mononitrate is used to treat tingling and numbness in limbs, do you know why? it cus those are the symptoms of BERIBERI or vitamin B1 deficiency also thiamine has another more common name which the ingredients listed, its called vitamin B1.

Thiamine is really not a good example. It's vitamin B1. That's also why it can be used in certain cases of numbness and tingling. This is easy to know ifo too. It would be on prooperly labeled vitB-complexes and multivamins and takes one google search to find out. It's conveniently left out of that video what thiamine is. the nitrate ion just makes it a salt so it dissolves in water. Anyway, I'd probably not get past a fun size even if I had reshaped cake slice sold as a cookie. the amount of sugar would make me nauseous. I remember thee last time I had a can of Fanta orange (mind you, it's Dutch Fanta, not the US/Canada kind) it nauseated me. Haven't really drank it since. @@HYPERxSONICxFANx2012 for a single cookie the amount of calories is as much as a full meal. And the worst part is that they are lying about it. She said in the video that like a quarter of the cookie is 200 calories and they don’t mention that it’s 200 calories for a serving. So people really don’t know what they are eating. If your KNOWINGLY eating the whole cookie knowing it’s calorie content, then it’s fine if you want to do that every once in a while, but it’s the fact that people are eating boxes of these everyday thinking it’s only 200 calories per cookie. That’s extremely unhealthy for being 700 calories a cookie and eating a ton of them. Not to mention I had a large slushy from the gas station and that was 400 calories 😭 how does a cookie that’s a quarter of the size of a slushy have almost double the amount of calories? 700 is a lot. I knew it probably wasn’t something actually bad because people just automatically assume that things with long names=bad, but it being a vitamin (something good for you if you don’t get too much of course) is actually so funny 😭
I’m pretty sure these wouldn’t be allowed in the UK, the amount of calories is crazy and my jaw dropped at the ingredients list that’s insane!!
My main reason I never wanted to get them ever because of how many calories-
I am happy that the EU is so strict about food safety. None of all those pointless chemicals would be allowed
@@martinjrgensen8234 omg are you talking about thiamine mononitrate? ik such a dangerous word right, but yk it has a more common name that everyone should know, its called vitamin B1 :), now you should actually read thru the list and do research before making an opinion.
Why do Crumbl cookies have that much sugar anyways? Like, even regular cookies from a bakery would not have that much calories and sugar. You'd still feel satisfied from eating it nonetheless. I think FOMO's the reason why they're so popular if you ask me.
All the extra stuff they decorate with ans the size probably
It is definitely fueled by tiktok hype
I think it's similar to trader Joe's where they constantly cycle through new flavors and get rid of old ones so influencers constantly have to review the new cookie and people like you said get FOMO once they cycle out the flavors
You can't even call those things cookies, they're cakes
THIS!!!
you mean more like sugar bombs

Thiamine mononitrate? Isn't it a form of vitamin B1? You need that girl (1.2 mg per day). Deficiency of that causes the tingling sensation!!! Y
its a synthetic version of b1! thiamine is the natural found vitamin and thiamine mononitrate is a synthetic form we made
@@jasperpage4215 that's amazing! 👏👏👏
When we want cookies, I'll bake some homemade, from scratch cookies. Less ingredients and less calories.
Plus homemade cookies are delicous
When I moved into my apartment, my realtor brought over a box of crumbl cookies for me and my roomate to celebrate having our own place with. It was a super sweet gesture and obviously we ate them but they were so big oml! We ended up splitting them all, where one of us got one half each and even that made me feel a lil nauseaus because they were soooo sweet.
you HAVE to play papa's mocharia. it‘s the perfect fall game. you literally make pumpkin spice lattes for people???
You wanna know what’s the craziest thing about Crumbl? Last month on the 10th (Saturday), while I was with a friend and we were walking downtown along 7th Avenue in Manhattan, New York City and State, to get pizza, we stumbled upon and passed through a Crumbl and lingering out there is nothing but rather a long ass line (probably a 2-hour line lol)
To be fair, blunt and honest with you there’s truly and literally little to nothing about Crumbl that I find to be worth the wait nor the hype but thank god I did not join the line just to witness that exact kind of horror.
I love Crumbl but nothing beats the huge chocolate chip cookies Costco has at the food court now 🍪
i've never had it, but i bet it's delish! what would you rate it out of 10?
@@HeyItsThaliaBree easily 10/10! dare I say best cookie I’ve ever had haha.
If you’re in NYC, you have to try Chip City or Levain Bakery because they have the best chocolate chip cookies. Chip City is actually similar to Crumbl but in my opinion so much better.
If crumbl cookie made a Thalia cookie I’d definitely buy it 🍪🤤
that would be a top tier cookie if i do say so myself 👀

@@HeyItsThaliaBree I'm 24. I feel you. Maybe, it's different for me because I'm in grad school?
Girl I'm sorry but those cookies weren't crumbling apart, they were SLIPPING apart because they're crazy raw. 💀 Eating a slightly undercooked gooey centre is safe ofc, but it's basic knowledge that eating raw cookie dough in large quantities that contains RAW EGGS and RAW FLOUR is NOT SAFE and that's probably why so many negative reviews have mentioned having terrible stomach aches taking a trip to the toilet.... Crumbl seriously needs to work on having consistent mass production. Either sickly, rock hard, raw dough or cooked right like???
Can’t imagine liking food that much to stand in that long line for it😮
Its the hype all about it, also when influencers kind of give the undertone of “you are missing out because we bought it”
i had a chocolate chip crumbl from my teacher. it was good, but my mom can make better at home with less chemicals, less sugar, n less calories.

Surprised crumbl haven’t had that much backlash with the bad reviews and the standards for the employees is dismal. Apparently they treat employees terribly and the hygiene standards in the kitchens are gross 🤢
My friends and I went to crumbl the other day and don’t get me wrong, I love a soft cookie as much as the next person! But these! We split it up so everyone could try and it looked a little bit raw but as we got to the middle, OH MY GOD. It wasn’t just dough it was liquid! Never again (we didn’t eat it)
Crumbl is a mix between raw dough store and cookie store. I like to under bake my cookies, but I don't want to buy underbaked cookies.
I was at school today and we were doing a thing in science like a get to know you shit and she showed us example from some kid last year and they said in they’ll get to know you sheet that their dad owns Crumbl cookies
My teacher promised my classmates, her others classes and me Crumbl Cookie if we got an overall good grade on one of our recent tests, and we were all so excited. I thought she was kidding when she had told us that the Crumbl cookies had made many of her students throw up because of the excess amount of sugar. So glad we didn't get Crumbl!
I never tried crumbl cookies. I don’t know what’s the hype of these cookies actually. And is it really worth it spending all your money on these cookies? Like for me I would just spend my money on chips ahoy or Oreos. The calories that crumbl cookies has is so diabolical…

03:18 - Exposed for not liking a lil sweet treat. For shame.
9:50 girl with how raw those dam cookies are you wouldn't even be baking you'd just be rolling the dough and putting it in boxes 😭😭😭😭
Idk going off the raw cookie thing as long as it’s safe people like what they like I guess. However if there’s like uncooked egg in there or other things that can be harmful that’s a lil iffy.
The same thing goes for raw flour.
Costco cookies!!! They win 🏅 crunchy outside and so full of chocolate chips perfectly cooked
Biggest flex never tried crumble once or asked for them💪
I think it's funny you say you don't like sweets but you like baking... so you like bread? LOL
As a long time baker, the cookies are subpar imo. I like them a bit softer so that's fine to me, but raw is a no go. I will say it's inspired me to do some baking recently and my own cookies are 1000x better than Crumbl's but I'm biased. :p
@@obscuraxxxx haha no no i love baking all sorts of sweets! i just bake for my family not myself(: i’m sure your cookies are indeed much much better.. what’s your fav kind to bake?
I don't understand how so many people go crazy over a over priced cookie. I can see trying them but every time they change them. From what I've seen they aren't worth $30. Dollars for 6 cookies. Why not learn how to cook, cook your own favorite. Maybe I feel this why because I don't like sweets.
One of the reasons is that some people are terrible at baking any kind of sweets. Or they just prefer to buy them instead of making them.
i agree with every point except the ingredient list one, if you actually read the the list, it has everything a normal cookie does. they however also need to write the ingredients of the ingredients they use. so let's remove all the stuff in the brackets and see the list-
heavy cream, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, eggs, sugar, marshmallow topping, brownie mix, semi-sweet chocolate chips, cocoa, soybean oil, bittersweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, oreo pieces, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, salt, baking soda, cornstarch, water, canola oil, flavouring, marshmallow flavouring water, ethyl alcohol, propylene glycol and citric acid.
the list is close to what you would actually have in your house with some extra ingredients for flavouring and stabilizing.
1000 calories per cookie is absolutely ridiculous and so unnecessary you can make much healthier cookies and eat at least 3 without going over your daily limit but 3 crumble cookies then your 3 meals a day is absolutely insane
Why do adults have such extreme FOMO? It’s puzzling and immature to be so obsessed with trends that are fleeting ….. Raw cookies. Screws & tacks in it. Wth!
All the sugar too.
100% depends on the location if it’s raw because obviously that’s not part of the cookie lol but it’s because where I go it’s completely cooked maybe not completely like a little dough but it’s like cooked and we personally I love cookie or crispy cookie but not crunch or really crisp
Edit: what I meant in the first part is don’t make fun of crumble for being raw if u have only had from one or two locations 😅
I’d rather have a pizza too Thalia, Pizza party?☺️

If your from orlando you dont go to crumble cookie. You go to gideons bakehouse for your cookies. They are 10x times better, if your ever in orlando flordia get yourself some gideons.
As a European I am convinced that all of the US is just a big social experiment for us to watch and wonder. Jokes aside, I can't imagine eating something with that amount of sugar inside. I don't get that hype, but it's the same with these strange heavy water cups, stanleys? I might just getting old with my 31 years of lifetime.
I was never much of a candy eater so I'm not missing it.

why is that a problem?
@@HYPERxSONICxFANx2012You're either too young to understand why is that a problem or just too d*mb.
The average recommended calories to eat in a day is 2,000…
That’s almost half. Not saying everyone should follow the 2,000 a day thing because it’s different for everyone, but my point is that it’s a lot more than people make it seem like.
that is ALOT in one sitting@@HYPERxSONICxFANx2012

Maybe it's because I'm european (Italy) but I can't understand why a cookie must be as big as a tea saucer. I mean, what's wrong with eating a normal sized cookie (like an oreo) and if you want more you can eat two or three of them
How many biscuits would you eat if it was a sugar cookie?
@@Heyurgirlistotallyrandom one, oreo-size, if it's very sweet. Otherwise 2 or 3. But I don't like the stuffed ones and usually our biscuits are very thin
I have PCOS (it includes an insulin resistance), I tried crumble cookie ONCE and I was sick for like 3 days and I almost threw up. They aren’t even that good 😕
If you want a gooey cookie add extra brown sugar 😭😭. Don’t undercook and food that have egg in it
liking doughy cookies is a preference for sure, i like doughy cookies, but that's clearly not what this is. this would not pass health standards in my country and our eggs are generally very safe too. leaving cookies half raw when you're baking at home is totally fine, but this is a company. they shouldn't be allowed to sell that because of the risk possible raw ingredients pose. it's a food safety concern
