I get if you like doughy cookies in the middle but there’s a difference between gooey and just plain raw. Raw cookies(like from crumbl) are dangerous to people’s health and it’s not about preference or not, it’s about safety and being actually edible. So you can’t just say “go somewhere else if you don’t like it this way” because not everyone’s cookies are raw which means it’s not intentional, it shouldn’t be happening in the first place
It must depend on the location luckily the I've near me cooks them properly cause that's insane gooey is yummy raw is not lol
Contaminated raw egg inside the dough can end you up in hospital. I don't know if they do a core temperature check for each batch? What you should do, just in case?
Don't get me wrong, I prefer them cooked, but you can't look at me in the eye and say that you haven't tasted or enjoyed eating raw cookie dough before. Everyone has done it, and it's delicious.

@@HYPERxSONICxFANx2012 exactly. Crumbl never claimed they were super healthy and good for you. But if you divide the amount of calories in one cookie by 1/4 the amount of calories in one serving is probably normal for a cookie. But you could also just not care and enjoy the cookie anyway

Being that their founders are Mormon cousins, the child labor laws to them probably are irrelevant as long as they could hide it, but they got sloppy. Nothing wrong with underage workers to have summer jobs, and learn the workforce as long as the parents consent. This was a much wider scope than just summer jobs, and half a dozen states
The way you keep saying it's a preference thing irks me. It's not a preference when it's raw dough that shouldn't be ingested. Soft cookies do not equal under baked.
Girl nothing beats classic oatmeal raisin cookies that are perfectly between crunchy and doughy like the ones at Walgreens 😍😍 crumbl cookies just don’t compete

It’s the SAME thing as LUSH (lush kitchen) they just applied it to cookies.
Which I get & it’s smart… but my issue is the quality..
I used to work at crumbl and they have ingredients in a pink bag and black one for certain flavor so you really don’t know what all the cookies have in them either as a worker since we had to make the dough
Health stuff and everything else aside, there is simply no food, no matter how tasty, I'd stand hours in line or camp in front of stores for. None.
worked for like 6 months in a california location and all the people that worked there (that weren’t managers) were fresh out of highschool or still in highschool, treated all of us like robotic slaves, targeting specific employees saying our hair wasn’t up and out of the way (everyone’s hair was braided tight and in buns, but wouldn’t say anything to others who had bobs straight out no hair net), coercing us to ball cookies faster than the 5 minute timer they set on our tables so we could win a gift card and if we didn’t do it in time it was looked down on (5 minutes is fucking impossible to ball 20 pounds of dough), they would get on us for a lot of little things. the main manager was always sweating into the dough, metal pieces and plastic gloves in the dough. they would say just take it out and we would cause there was no time to make more. When we were struggling after our busses got closed they condescendingly asked if we know about “uber” or “lyft” when we told them we have no fucking money even for food and live paycheck to paycheck they offered us a commercial size bag of cornflakes and sprinkles…? and then started taking us off the schedule. the manager i found out later had sexual assault allegations against him, the whole fucking company is fucked up and ran by utah mormons, what do you expect? them to care??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the customers were so bad too. yelling at us by name over cookies. lines out the door, catering, doordash, and curbside pickup. HELL!!!
You wanna know what’s the craziest thing about Crumbl? Last month on the 10th (Saturday), while I was with a friend and we were walking downtown along 7th Avenue in Manhattan, New York City and State, to get pizza, we stumbled upon and passed through a Crumbl and lingering out there is nothing but rather a long ass line (probably a 2-hour line lol)
To be fair and honest with you there’s truly and literally little to nothing about Crumbl that I find to be worth the wait nor the hype but thank god I did not join the line just to witness that exact kind of horror. At one point I also kinda did want to consider working at Crumbl but nahh. Given the controversy around child labour and the fact that this issue is what I don’t support nor tolerate, now I know. Thank god I decided to pull back from that
I’m pretty sure these wouldn’t be allowed in the UK, the amount of calories is crazy and my jaw dropped at the ingredients list that’s insane!!
My main reason I never wanted to get them ever because of how many calories-

@@HYPERxSONICxFANx2012you need about 1.5k calories a day, males need need a bit more. If you're keeping track to not gain weight and each cookie is 700-900. That's half of your calories in one cookie.
Idk going off the raw cookie thing as long as it’s safe people like what they like I guess. However if there’s like uncooked egg in there or other things that can be harmful that’s a lil iffy.
I don't understand how so many people go crazy over a over priced cookie. I can see trying them but every time they change them. From what I've seen they aren't worth $30. Dollars for 6 cookies. Why not learn how to cook, cook your own favorite. Maybe I feel this why because I don't like sweets.
One of the reasons is that some people are terrible at baking any kind of sweets. Or they just prefer to buy them instead of making them.

Unrelated sorta but Pro tip: wasps hate the smell of lavender, Irish spring (sometimes used to repel insects, in general), eucalyptus, menthol (Vicks vaporub has many uses! But PLEASE remember to WASH AND RINSE YOUR HANDS, VERY THOROUGHLY OR USE SOMETHING OTHER THAN YOUR HANDS TO APPLY IT! It’ll hurt when you rub your eyes w the residue still on your hands.. but works VERY WELL as a repellent for wasps), citrus (esp orange peels), most mint stuff but definitely peppermints.. just to name a few things. I make sure to have a strong scent of something they HATE around me when I go outside and don’t rly have much of an issue.. they typically go away after flying within 6 feet of me. Hope it helps

If you’re in NYC, you have to try Chip City or Levain Bakery because they have the best chocolate chip cookies. Chip City is actually similar to Crumbl but in my opinion so much better.
Crumbl is so mid and the cookies are raw and like your entire caloric intake for the day, idk why people flock there it's crazy

Why do Crumbl cookies have that much sugar anyways? Like, even regular cookies from a bakery would not have that much calories and sugar. You'd still feel satisfied from eating it nonetheless. I think FOMO's the reason why they're so popular if you ask me.

So that’s where you got stung huh? 😂Crumbl Cookies was never really my thang, it’s too sugary for me and not appetizing. I always preferred making them from scratch or if I’m ever lazy I buy the Otis Spunkmeyer Frozen Cookies to bake quickly. Only chain cookies I ever buy is Mrs. Fields cookies, other than that homemade all the way for me!

As a long time baker, the cookies are subpar imo. I like them a bit softer so that's fine to me, but raw is a no go. I will say it's inspired me to do some baking recently and my own cookies are 1000x better than Crumbl's but I'm biased. :p

If the flour is still raw in those cookies, Crumbl is 100 percent putting people in danger.
YESS the sugar cookies and the iced oatmeal is amazing! The Lemon ones are great to. Sometimes they definitely are undercooked ive heard but I haven't had a super raw one like some of these videos so definitely depends on the location.
But foreal if you don't like it DONT HAVE THEM. Let people be happy about unhealthy cookies if they want to spend the money lol
I’ve never had a Crumbl cookie but frankly it’s a bit ridiculous that someone is complaining about ingredients in a cookie... it’s a cookie! It’s not a healthy food & I don’t recall them advertising they are healthier versions of cookies.
If you care about ingredients it’s best to make your own food.

liking doughy cookies is a preference for sure, i like doughy cookies, but that's clearly not what this is. this would not pass health standards in my country and our eggs are generally very safe too. leaving cookies half raw when you're baking at home is totally fine, but this is a company. they shouldn't be allowed to sell that because of the risk possible raw ingredients pose. it's a food safety concern

Maybe it’s because I’m in San Diego, but the Crumbl hype seems fun yet overrated in my opinion. It’s expensive, crazy sweet, and the regular size is so huge, I get sleepy after a few bites. 😅 However, I only went because I was missing out on the Olivia Rodrigo tour and wanted to at least try her cookie while wearing her merch. While I personally think her cookie was pretty good (biased fan connections aside), the other cookies I enjoyed that week were a waffle cookie and chocolate covered strawberry cookie.
I don’t know if I’d ever go out of my way again for another box though.

@@FloralIrene of course, i fully get it as i have battled an E.D. for a decade now. calories are part of life but that doesn’t mean they need to be counted or demonized! i not at all was saying it’s best to restrict them, eat low cal or strictly “healthy”/whole foods (i mentioned that i prefer pizza or nuggets lol) balance is key.. plus life is too short to not have fun foods(: with all that being said, i should’ve put a trigger warning so i do apologize for not doing so

We got a crumbl in 2019 haha and my friend bought cookies every single weekend.
Crumble Cookies are so overhyped and overrated. There are so many other cookie companies that do it better, cheaper and more quality products. Please don't waste your hard earned money and support this particular shady corporation.
