It's been out on Verizon for some time now, but the addition of 4G (HSPA+) and a $150 price drop can't hurt, right? Shown off earlier in the summer, AT&T is rocking the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G, an Android device with a 1 GHz processor, 4-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, a front-facing shooter for video calls, a built-in Playstation controller, and seven games. It ships with a multimedia dock and a bunch of other goodies, making it a very attractive handset with a sub-$50 price tag.

I dont know why so many people on here are dissing the Xperia Play. I have had one ever since it hit ATT and I love this phone. It plays everything I want flawlessly. All of the whiners on here need to realize that you need to take care of the phone and also learn to install the xperia nxt rom from krisdee on this phone. The rom is fantastic and I have no lag from anything. I wish people would think with their head instead of posting a half-assed, uneducated remark about a phone this amazing.
4g, ps titles, PS buttons and a high end android system at $49.
This phone is looking like my early christmas present for this year.
The PR people probably put the SIM card in the phone before they shipped it but it's worth mentioning that when you buy a phone through AT&T's online store or over the phone they usually put a SIM card in it for you.

Just got this phone on Verizon, it came free as an upgrade to my current phone. Can't wait, it should be here monday! XD
Its $0.00 right now at Best Buy with a 2 year contract on both Verizon and AT&T. I got my sister one and I got play with it, its pretty bad ass. Enough to convince me to get one as well. Its free with my upgrade, so why not. Cheers

You can get it from AT&T for $0.99 now with free shipping as long as you sign a 2 year contract with them saying you will stay with AT&T for 2 years.
the best reason to get this is if you're a retro lover and run all the emulators :) That's why I'm getting it

if i cant get the razr for my upgrade in a few days, im getting this. Unless i see something else of interest. The game controller is so tempting, it makes me want this phone a lot, i do like playing handheld games

I have this phone its very good, the only bad thing is the screen scratches easily so i recommend a screen protector.
Imna get this phone on febuary when my plan ends :D cant wait!

I have this phone aswell. It's not 4G but it has this UI that i don't like that much. I wish i had the UI that the Verizon users have :(

sony missed a trick with this phone. They should have made it compatible with the PSP games on the Playstation Store. Shame. i would have bought one if it did... Oh well, iPhone 5 here I come!
