Great video as always but think i missed the reason for the 5v ref increase was it due to the swirl flap actuator being faulty and causing the reference voltage to rise? Regards Jay
I'm a technician by trade just after some advise on a audi a1 1.4 tfsi 2014 intermitant steering light on dash and brake malfunction on display at different times can go a week and not do it. Fault code u015500 in ecm and abs modules loss off communication with cluster.resets with key cycle.only started after fitting a apple car play not sure if that's a coincidence
Never a coincidence with intermittent faults like this. Suggests wiring loom is misplaced, plugs aren't fully seated and/or electrical noise being introduced into the wiring. For example, I fitted an android headunit... totally isolated from car (no canbus) and the range of wireless keyfob has reduced massively. Electrical inteference is an issue.
Enjoyed the video . Not seen 5 ref before actually increase . That 1 to remember. Thanks for sharing
Definitely a very skilled guy, your experience is amazing.
I appreciate that cheers
Another great video. Really enjoyed it.

Thanks Mike
Very educational and interesting video Scottie, not full of music thanks for sharing.
Great to watch you at work mate
Thanks 👍
Learner, thanks for sharing.
That Hyundia not giving a ref voltage high code but the abs can see the engine has an actuator fault ,
Excellent video!
Cheers Kevin
ryan could watch you all day your skill set is a joy to watch
Thanks mate

Regards Jay
Hi jay yes correct it had interference because of the swirl flap actuator
Thanks for the advice on abs sensor testing , great job as always Ryan 👏. What do you think would be a decent starter scope to get ?
Could try the hantek, I wouldn’t go too expensive as most of the cheaper ones do just fine 🙂
@mrautoservices7354 thanks mate, I will check it out 👍
what diagnostic machine do u have mate, your own i mean and not 1 u show how to use, also will it do most things
I have many but the one in this video is the main machine that i use
It will do mostly everything i need it to like cloud programming etc 🙂
Nice one 🎯👌🏻
Thanks
nice work my friend . just in the middle of chasing an earth fault myself on a pas reservoir 😱😱 bloody nightmare it goes all over the place 🤣🤣🤣
Good luck Paul 🙂👍
I love this stuff, but still none the wiser. 😂 cheers.

Always find KIa/Hyundai stuff is pretty cheap build quality wise, Componentry isn't anywhere close to a Toyota or Honda.
Agreed and i also find the cost for the parts are through the roof
