i am not sure about this because i have read in many forums that it is safe to keep the filters on. but i dont want to risk killing the benefical bacteria in my filter because i have over stocked discus in my tank. so to be on a safer side i remove the filters because pp is a strong oxidizing agent and i m not sure if the beneficial bacteria will survive or not
that depends on the level of infection.. if it is heavy infection then treatment can be repeated .. but be very careful about dosages .. heavy dosages can kill fishes..

1000 mg = 1 gm if your tank is of 100 litre you will require 200mg of PP which is = 0.2 gm. itne precision ka weighing scale bohot costly aata hai ..isliye me pani ke colour se hi approximate treatment karta hu. johari ke pass jo weighing scale hota hai . uski jarurat padegi exact dose k liye aapka tank kitne litre ka hai ?
alternately aap aisa kar sakte ho . 10gram pp dissolve karo 1 litre pani me aur stock solution bana lo. fir is solution ka 20ml use karo per 100 litre of aquarium water.

If fishes are infected then is it required to treat the fishes for continuous 3 days or one day treatment is sufficient
